We had a beautiful, spacious, clean period room with a four poster bed which was really lovely. The hotel's spa facilities were outstanding. However, my husband and I were a little bit disappointed with the lack of variety the menu at the Grill offered. We were also disappointed that we were unable to view our favourite programme together on Netflix due to the fact that the smart television in our room didn't allow us to mirror my phone's screen, which we thought was a pity.

Top notch facilities, friendly staff and overall excellence. This was our second visit to the Celtic collection. We stayed at the Celtic manor during our first and now, the manor house. Breathtaking facilities and excellence in service. I am sure this won't be our last.

We arrived at 11am, room wasn’t ready until after 4pm. We couldn’t eat in the restaurants as they were full. The main pool was not available u till 7pm that evening.

Room was large and comfortable. High quality bathroom and lovely soap and shampoo. Breakfast was very good choices and staff very friendly and helpful. large site so easy to get lost around the buildings

Not impressed when attempting to Check In at the Manor House that the computers were down and that I had to go up to the main Hotel to check in . Where they to were experiencing Computer problems and the check in was delayed .

Great stay, great hotel. Really enjoyed it but car park pricey considering its a resort and not included in stay.

Great room and dining. Unfortunately the relaxing trip to the spa was ruined by screaming kids who were splashing everyone and jumping in and out of the pool. I understand that families are entitled to stsy, but the young girl on duty totally ignored what was going on. At one point a young boy was putting his hand over the small fountains around the pool and was spraying everyone with jets of water. Not what you want when you are trying to relax.

The hotel was generally good—friendly staff, spacious rooms, and a great location. However, there was a lot of dust, a few moths, and, worst of all, the fire alarm went off constantly for 30 minutes on the first night. It was disruptive, but the rest of the stay was fine.

Was a nice evening with my partner, drinks at the bar are very overpriced and the bath in our room had the enamel missing which is not very hygienic. I love a bath too but wasn’t getting in that. Food was nice.

Great stay, excellent location. Very good. Only thing I can say is Car park is expensive for what it is, other than that well recommended.

Quieter than Celtic but with the benefits of the Celtic.

Very relaxing environment. Staff well trained and friendly. Ridiculously cheap for the standard of hotel.

Can't fault the rooms, nor the staff, but the pricing is ridiculous. Bad enough you have to pay £20 to park overnight as a hotel guest, buying food and drink inside just takes the mick. £7.25 for a pint of lager. In Newport. In Wales. Absolute rip-off

Stayed overnight before the Masquerade Ball. Room ok, needs a bit cleaning especially in the corners, lost of dust on the carpets. Comfy bed. General parking a bit of issue, as fair walk from the reception, and way too expensive. Sleep was disturbed by other guests on the floor above, we got complementary parking to compensate, which was nice.
