The hotel was right next to the motel and you could tell the difference, Lol.
The good:
The room was good. It had the large bath tub that I requested, and a table with chairs in front of the window with a nice view of the ocean, the beach, and the stationary train museum. The room had a coffee maker and a 40inch tv or larger, couldn’t tell. The bed was nice a large but a little firm if you’re into that, I didn’t mind it. The AC was good and cold with the ability to change to direction up/down of the wind flow. The area outside the hotel had plenty of market shops and the beach was about a 5 min walk. Convenience stores were near and there was a walking path along the coastline for runners or walkers or couples that like walking together.
The bad:
The room had a roller blind style window curtain that really did not block all the sunlight coming into the room so be careful you need blackout drapes. There was many smaller towels but only ONE large towel to dry yourself, don’t know what that was all about. (Only for those with children)... the window was a slide type that had about two doors and a screen door, all that slides to open. They ALL slide to one side with a large area for a great breeze, however it is large enough a space that a grown adult can jump right out the window. That means an adventurous child can definitely fall out if the window is not secure. This was the 9th floor.
Overall:
I enjoyed the hotel and if the price is right, I will stay here again.
