Excellent overnight stay, nice breakfast and dinner. Great location. Staff excellent, bar did not cater for my needs as no gluten free beer on tap or in bottles.

Loved the location! Our room had a view overlooking the harbor. Some remodeling going on but did not disturb our experience.

This two-day break was perfect. Although the rooms and bathrooms were quite small, the space was cleverly utilised. We were fortunate with the beautiful weather, which allowed us to enjoy hiking along the coastline before retuning to sunset dinners. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the room was spotlessly clean.

We were nicely suprise by the accomodation and hospitality! Highly recommending for a short break.

When we arrived the staff were very helpful, and although we had arrived a couple of hours before check in, they advised us that the room was ready and we could drop our luggage off. They informed us that the car parking is anywhere in the public parking area, and there were plenty of spaces directly across the road from the Hotel. The Hotel itself is right on the Waterfront, although the name may give that away, and there is an outside seating area, to enjoy the sunshine with a few drinks from the bar. Some renovation work was ongoing in the hotel, but this did not affect our stay. The room was small but comfortable and the bathroom whilst very small was well thought out in the space allocated. The bed was comfortable, allowing for a good nights sleep and the shower was powerful. Breakfast was the usual mix of a cooked breakfast, along with a selection of cereals, yoghurt, bread and pastries, the cooked breakfast was very enjoyable and filling. We also had a meal in the restaurant one evening, the menu was extensive, and the quality of the food was very good. All in all a very nice stay, with friendly staff and we would definitely return in the future. .

Stay every year in PortPatrick & this year booked a seafront room thinking would be better. Apart from the views it really isn’t. Building work in the room next door which disturbed my Sunday afternoon. Dogs are allowed to stay and one dog opposite my room didn’t stop barking! The loud noise on Sunday after in the bar below was terrible, I really though a fight had broken out, the language was disturbing. I’ll be booking Harbour again next year or Crown, as the waterfront is in poor condition. There is some work going on. However my room wasn’t very clean (wasn’t dirty) just didn’t feel fresh. Bed sheet just constantly came off as it was too small! The bathroom is a disgrace!! The size is ridiculous for a more expensive room! The mould in the shower cubicle. So dated and far too small for the price. The shower water pressure cannot be described as pressure as there was none! Like trickles coming out! The hairdryer is dated and again no pressure. Gave up trying to dry my hair!

Hello, let's be fair, the property is in need of updates it's being done which is great it's not done over night possibly get it done then open after a shut down, it's a difficult situation l guess family and staff are great and they have not owned it long , fair prices and great food and drink so good luck with the updates, especially in the showers, and with water pressure without a pump on the top floor....

Very accessible. Breakfast is great. The staff were very obliging and the sea views were tremendous 👏 👌 👍 Oh, and the room was excellent.

En suite far too small, sitting on toilet with legs up against wash basin, couldnt bend down when brushing teeth bathroom door right behind you, shower cubicle to small couldnt bend down to wash feet. Breakfast served wasnt that warm, only white bread for toast. We payed for two nights but left after first night.

Booked for a last minute weekend that also had to be pet friendly and luckily we found The Waterfront. The room itself was clean & spacious with a great view (ensuite was small but they warn you about that) and breakfast was one the nicest I've had in a hotel. As for the staff, they were so friendly and helpful especially when we checked in late.

Stay was excellent. Great service, great food, great staff - very friendly. The hotel is undergoing refurbishment - a working progress. The room was cosy and the bed very comfortable, a little tired in the ensuite, sea view more than made up for this - what’s not to like. Excellent value for money. Will return. 😊

Breakfast was poor and selection of wines only served some wines by the bottle went next door and got it by the glass

Loved my break here with my partner and wee dog. Had to cut it short though due to circumstances. Our room which appeared to have been recently refurbished was lovely and immaculate. Loved the wee shower room which was so fresh. The staff were extremely helpful and extremely nice especially Lynsey. Only gripe here is that there was no matress protector on the bed but I'm sure they will put that right ASAP. Will definitely be going back. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Best value for money hotel i have ever stayed in. Thanks everyone. Joan
