Staff were excellent and very friendly, really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Only two minor negatives to speak of: - The shower was old-fashioned and very weak - tea and coffee in the room was only replenished once in the entire week we were there. Overall we had an excellent stay, great location right by the lake (had a balcony with a lake view), would happily recommend this hotel.

Good breakfast, convenient location

Great location. Amazing view from balcony. Reception staff, dining staff were very helpful and friendly. Housekeeping superb standard- bed was really comfy! Breakfast was good quality with plenty of choice. Only issue was how thin the walls were. You could hear your neighbours conversations and even them using the bathroom. Did not sleep very well due to this issue.

Best view ever!! Balcony views were amazing! Location was perfect and walkable to everything! Breakfast every morning was delicious! Staff was so helpful with questions we had! Would definitely return!

The property is conveniently located in the main area of Desanzano Del Garda. It is a two minute walk to a really great beach and under 10 minutes walking to the main city Square with all of the restaurants and bars and shops. Also, just a five minute taxi to the train station. The room was air-conditioned and at night, even though a busy area. It was still very quiet. The view from the balcony overlooking the lake was incredible gorgeous sunset and sunrise.

The hotel is nice older but well maintained the only reason for 3 star review is the room, it was very far with no view I have never walked that long to get to my room, felt like a maze. But everything else including free breakfast was great.

Great hotel within walking distance of town center with a lovely view of the lake. The staff were wonderful, the breakfast excellent, we had a delightful few days staying here.

Nice hotel near the beach. Breakfast was great. Just one thing I would recommend is to have a full length mirror in the room .

We stayed as a family of 3 with a baby Breakfast options were excellent. Great balcony view overlooking Lake Garda, very clean and friendly staff. So convenient to the train and ferries for transport to Sirmione, Garda, Peschiara del Garda, Venice and Verona. All great day trips. Desenzano itself also a great wee place. Would stay again!

Just one night to visit friends but the staff was so helpful. Your room overlooked the lake and the rooftop balcony is so nice.. great breakfast too!

We had a lovely stay in Desenzano at Hotel Riviera, where Desenzano provided the perfect base for us to explore Lake Garda as we had been travelling Italy via trains. We had a balcony and lake view room, which provided gorgeous views and caught the morning sun. For us that was definitely worth upgrading for. The room felt spacious and modern. There was only a mini bar fridge in the room though, so storing any drinks to cool was a challenge, especially with the 30 degree heat. Only gripe with the room was that the shower had poor temperature regulation, where often it would cycle. The roof terrace with sun loungers was a cracking touch, especially for days of just relaxing. The hotel was only a short walk to the ferry port, and < 20mins walk to the train station. I would highly recommend this hotel, and would opt to stay again in the future!

The hotel is in a great location, right on the front and less than 10 minutes walk from the main area for restaurants and the ferry. We didn’t book a lake view room, and our room was right at the back past what looked like a block of apartments and through a glass walkway and it felt disconnected from the main hotel, hence the reason for the fours star review. Worth considering paying extra for the lake view room.
