Location is perfect for Brigade road. However wish we had booked the Olive. Room was atrocious and poorly maintained. We tried to make it work for two days out of four. By the end of day 2 we had enough. Interestingly something was being done to another room opposite ours (fumigation?) which led to bugs possibly entering our room. My wife had bite marks all over her. That was the final straw. We couldn’t get away fast enough. Also, there is a night club in the same building. Be prepared for the stares from the claimed bouncers.

If work or shopping requires you to stay at Brigade road, this is a convenient option. The staff is very helpful, pleasant and cooperative. They allowed us to keep our baggage after checkout, till we returned from shopping. The food at the Terrace restaurant is good. Breakfast is minimal. First two days I stayed at the ground floor room 010, which was not so good. Next two days I stayed at 108, first floor. This room was bigger and better. They need to replace their towels. Very old and discolored. The biggest problem was the hot water in the bathroom. The heating system is defective. It required us to keep the tap running for 5-10 min before the hot water came. Ironically, every bathroom had a sticker that asked the guests to save water!
