Lovely place. Full of history.

A lovely stay overnight for valentines we had a meal also a nice hotel in beautiful settings

Our second stay here was as pleasing as our first. A very unique location in a very special village by the Thames. Very comfortable, lovely food and faultless staff. Will definitely book for a third visit. Recommend without hesitation.

This team are really settling in since a change of ownership. Food remains amazing and brilliant customer service.

Set in beautiful Berkshire country. Historical Charm, friendly and attentive staff. It was fun to return to the place of our Wedding Reception 25 years ago!

The location is great and in a beautiful village.

We were given a cold room away from the main hotel overlooking a power supply unit and a brick wall. The fire alarm went off at 8.00am and we could hear the next room conversation all night. This used to be a great hotel, I will never stay here again.

Staff are exceptionally helpful. Food good and unfussy. Lovely location and they have some very delightful rooms.

Was on a 1 night stay, but comfortable room, and very nice dinner and breakfast..

The actual Olde Bell building looks very nice but we were in a building away from the main building. It’s annoying when you book a place that looks great and then you’re stuck in some back building. The building we were in was fine, but at 6am there was an extremely loud humming/rumbling sound that went on for hours. I don’t know if it was the fan from the room next door, or what it was but it woke us up and we couldn’t sleep after because of the terrible noise. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Dinner, bed and breakfast was excellent value for money. The staff at breakfast could have been more attentive but otherwise all good.

Hotel was nice, comfortable and clean. Arrived late in the evening and left early the next day so never had the time to explore. Breakfast was nice and staff very helpful.

Beautiful historic pub in small village. Comfortable rooms, nice buffet style breakfast the next morning. For the price and quality of the hotel the in room amenities were pretty basic.

Breakfast cereal offered all sugary Yoghurt all low fat Cooked breakfast all lukewarm

Really great stay, comfy bed, great location and staff wonderful and very welcoming. The breakfast was great except the sausages and black pudding were undercooked and the beans were cold but there was lots of options and plenty to choose from so it was delicious. Room was great but we were only provided with one set of towels and there were 2 of us, rang down to reception several times but no one answered so frustrating, my poor husband hand to using a tiny towel for his shower so not ideal. I definitely recommend staying here especially if you are attending a wedding near by. The locals are all really lovely too.

The hotel is in a beautiful village and a short walk from the river. It is a very old property with great potential, but let down by tired shabby decor, and poor housekeeping. My room had evidence of the previous occupants, a shower that needed descaling, and mould growing in the bathroom. Breakfast was poor with a limited offer. Restaurant staff need direction and lack confidence.
