Car park was on the small side so when I first arrived I had to park up on the side of the road. Was fairly quite.

The room was clean though it could have done with removal or spider webs. The staff were super nice and the grounds were great for kids to run around and play in. Food wasn’t great though.

Room was fantastic I'm size and clean. Breakfast was brilliant and the food at dinner was amazing.

Quaint little hotel. Great garden. Rooms separate to reception/pub building. But nice to stay in.

This is my third time staying at the Old Bell. The first time was with work and the second two times with husband and two children when we took part in local triathlons. The staff are really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great and the beer garden is fantastic with great games for the kids .like chess and jenga. The hotel is about a 10 Min walk to the river Thames where people were paddle boarding and enjoying the water. Love this hotel!!

Only stayed One night so cannot say too much, however Pranav was extremely helpful and looked after us very well. The rest of the staff are very helpful too going out of their way to help load our car.

Staff were wonderful and super friendly. The area was beautiful and my son loved the size of the garden.

We stayed for 2 nights during one of the heatwaves and we're worried the room would be too hot as we knew there wasn't Aircon. The staff had kept the blinds closed and provided a fan which kept the room warm, but comfortable. There was a bit of a wait at reception for a member of staff to appear, but check-in then went smoothly. The room was large and comfortable, as was the bed. Unfortunately on the second day the sheet had come loose and we noticed stains on the part of the sheet that had been tucked in as well as marks on the mattress protector. Recommended bringing your own toiletries, as the shampoo/conditioner, body wash and hand soap all appeared to be the same stuff and did not produce any sort of lather. Breakfast was a nice assortment of cooked and continental and it was lovely to sit in the pub garden to enjoy this. Overall a nice stay in a nice area.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Absolutely everything was top notch and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate and help make my stay enjoyable

No problems with the staff or breakfast menu. Bar prices are a bit higher than London prices. Dinner menu a bit limited, but what really let the location down was the choice of music blearing out from the outside bar throughout the garden are and inner bar. The music was more suited to clubland venues or exercise gyms rather than a location for quiet socialising and relaxation. Thus, it did not suit the hotel's clientele.

I recently stayed here and while the location is absolutely beautiful and the surroundings are very picturesque, I was disappointed overall. The room was extremely hot as there was no air conditioning, which made it difficult to get a comfortable night’s sleep. The food was just average and didn’t really stand out, especially considering the price. At around £140 per night, I didn’t feel it offered good value for money. The staff were pleasant enough, but the accommodation and dining experience didn’t justify the cost. A lovely setting, but there are definitely improvements needed to match the price.

Check in was unfriendly and unhelpful. Room was nice but tired and grubby in places (stains on the bed for example). Same for the bathroom. Old, quant hotel but cobwebs in the hallway. 3 star yes but no excuse for not being clean.

The staff were amazing and the buildings were historic and authentic. Loved the cottage gardens, outdoor dining and overall vibe. Only negative was the lack of air conditioning on a very hot night on the third floor. We appreciated the presence of a fan, but there was a power outage and since the room only had windows on one side, it was hard to cross ventilate.

The inn is set in a quiet village and very easy to access. Rooms are good and the bathroom clean, smart and modern. Plenty of parking.

The bathroom was uncleaned, shampoo and soap all over the walls, toilet was dirty under the seat. It was horrible. Really bad maintenance on the property, carpets that are at least 29 years old. No respect for the customer staying at this hotel. Go somewhere else

Great location to walk along the Thames .

This is a quaint hotel in a lovely village. The staff are so attentive it really made for a relaxing evening. The beer garden at the back was a added bonus. Would recommend and if in the area would stay again.
