Well located, functional kitchen, comfortable beds. However, one of the patio door did not lock. Personally, for me, it is an important security issue.

Close to everything in the historic town. Facility charges for every extra thing. Towels etc. you must do your own dishes and clean up. Very rustic but nice

The room was in good condition but they make it look so much nicer than what you really get. You could smell somebody smoking through the vent in the bathroom and you can hear others in rooms around you. The bathroom was nice and remodeled. It was nice for the price that it is. I would stay here again. Some of the lights at night are really bright and warning stickers glow on the walls while you are trying to sleep. It isn't really close to anything but then again in Sintra everything is pretty far from each other in terms of walking. The view from the seating area is beautiful but we couldn't enjoy it because people were out there smoking the whole time. Even 7 am when we woke up the next morning in the dark they were out there smoking again. For the price it is a warm comfy bed and a place to safely lie your head.

Excellent location for touring Sintra. Close to city center and convenient to the castles for touring. Essentially a street away from the main drag, but far enough that it was very quiet. Beds were also quite comfortable. Shower and bathroom were roomy. Would stay here again!

Please read carefully before booking. We ended up booking a room in a shared house, sharing a bathroom which was not very pleasant 😐 tried changing the room several times before travel but we were told we could not but asked us to pay full amount if we wanted the other room. There is no parking on premises and it is a steep hill to get to the hotel so not for handicapped people. Horrible stay for us.

This accommodation is nice and the staff are nice too. I found the facilities to be good enough for my needs, for example being able to use the kitchen. My only issue with this type of building is the poor sound proofing. Unfortunately this is a structural issue which is common in most hotels and guesthouses throughout Europe.

Hotel may be nice, people may be nice, yet it was a perfect storm. Phone died, no access to internet, no one at desk when I arrived, after charging phone, no one would answer and parking was 500 meters away. Did not stay there.

The apartment was clean and quiet, with a tidy bathroom and overall good housekeeping. I appreciated that the room and toilet were very clean.Close to station. The only downside was the layout and lighting. There was no outside area, and the living room/kitchen had no real window – only a door with a wooden panel and a glass panel. If you opened the wooden part, you got some light, but for fresh air you would need to open the glass part directly onto the street, which didn’t feel very safe. This seems to be more about the design of the flat than something the hosts can change, but it’s worth checking carefully before booking if natural light and outdoor space are important to you.

It was a beautiful place to stay. It was clean and comfy. But be aware of the high level of noise if u r unlucky with the other tenants following the older building style. We were recommended a free parking near by but couid be warn not to drive down to the property. Driving back up was a big time stress;) I would book the room near the garden at the rear side of the villa if I was back.

This was a great choice. This place is adorable. We loved the rustic look. The beds were very comfortable. Shower was nice, good water pressure and hot water. AC worked great. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They provide a map of the area with suggestions about what to see and restaurants. We enjoyed eating at Restaurante Apeadeiro, their suggestion for Portuguese. Luis Santos for more upscale and Volta e Meia. You can't go wrong with any of these places, and they are all walking distance from property. Just up the hill at the main road is a small grocery. We got yogurt, fruit and OJ for breakfast in the room. My husband and I wanted some extra space, so we rented the family unit. It offered a bed in the living room area and a separate room with a bed and 2nd full bath. It gave us the space to really relax. The kitchen was well stocked and if you needed anything they'd get it for you. You had to ask for wine glasses. The terrace is narrow but offers a table that hinges out from the wall. The view is so nice and it's a great spot to enjoy a glass of wine and unwind after a long day of exploring. This property is close to the train station. It was quiet and we enjoyed being outside the main tourist area. It's an easy walk to get to the center of town. We were able to walk to the Quinta de Regaleria and took an Uber to and from Pena Palace/Moorish Castle area. I would stay at this property again.
