It was lovely. So friendly. The food is amazing too and the staff are all lovely! The breakfast is to die for.

Lovely old pub with character. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely stay but made amazing by the Chefs. If you have the opportunity to visit be sure to have one of their specialty burgers - Salt & Pepper Chicken Burger or the Lamb Feta Burger. Both amazing and on my top 10 of best evers.

Very dated small room. Alot of noise from pub below. No spare toilet roll & tissue box, practically empty 😢. Mattress uncomfortable, you could feel springs. Help yourself b/fast was not expected! Cafitiere plungerwas in pieces, managed to put back together. Dirty, cleaned it. Milk curlded in coffee. Small portable fridge used for it. Odd set up with one sitting room type entry leading to all rooms. Thermostat for heating in there too, manually operated. Not my idea of comfort. Reviews state very good+. Do not agree with this. Pub is very old. Could do we with modernisation. Didn't sleep well at all. Took photos of issues.

Wonderful! Lovely staff, great food, good selection of beers and wines. Rooms small (as would be expected from an old inn) but clean and comfortable. Nice mix of locals and visitors. Definitely recommend. Thanks so much!

Lovely hotel, fab staff, excellent choices on the menu for dinner, breakfast was lovely and even got to meet the owners dogs in the morning ❤️ would stay here again.

The king arms is a lovely old pub the room was very comfortable and clean we had a good cooked breakfast the owners and the people work there was very nice Location was brilliant free car park We will go again

A very quaint pub/Hotel to stay. The bedrooms are separate to the pub area so no noise. Common lounge with settee and biscuits/tea/coffee/hot chocolate all available 24 hours. Excellent full English breakfast. Staff efficient and friendly.

Excellent in all respects. Huge breakfast, beautifully cooked, but too much for an old fella like me. Friendly staff and a pleasant, cosy bar.

Room & facilities fine but there was a problem with the heating on the first day. Rather steep stairs up to bedroom.

Bedroom was not good, no windows , nowhere to put clothes. Hairdryer suppied but no where near mirror to plug it in. Blind in bathroom broken, bathroom door would not shut. No heating. Coffee and tea making facilities where down end of corridor not in room. Overall absolutely crap.

Lovely location and building, comfortable bed, great breakfast. Main staff very good, young team behind the bar more concerned about having a laugh and it took us 30 minutes to check in.

Third visit as hotel is convenient for motorway. Staff as ever very welcoming. Lack of milk and instant hot chocolate was a bit of a shame, the former rectified for coffee next morning. No butter for toast at breakfast as well. Minor issues that can be easily fixed.

Verry happy with my stay at the Kings Arms, everything was very clean and confortable and great breakfast. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definately stay here again. Thanks

Great location. Fantastic breakfast

Our second stay as we had enjoyed our previous visit. We had a larger room this time and despite being in the front with the road outside it was very quiet. Enjoyable evening meal and great breakfast with sociable staff and owner.

This is a traditional pub. No frills. Attentive staff good rooms and facilities. Food was OK but portions too big. Breakfast was good. Reviews overstate its wonderfulness.
