Breakfast as always great and good service in the evening. The room was not as nice as the ones across the road in terms of space but I booked late and you were busy so understandable.

Charming historic country pub draped in wisteria at this time of year. Our room was in a modern courtyard which blended very well with the original building. Room clean and well planned. Excellent breakfast - nice thick bacon and delicious sausages.

Room was clean, bed was great. Check in was very easy and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

For the price of the room, we were really disappointed - pretty basic (but clean) and the bathroom could really do with some updating - shower really wasn't great, not much pressure and head clogged up with limescale. Was not the standard I was expecting. Dinner was lovely though and the staff were great, couldn't have been more helpful to fit us in. Breakfast was also very good but service was slow as there was a big party and the two ladies working seemed very overwhelmed. I'd just expected more from the room for the price.

Staff is really helpful and friendly with good knowledge of local stuff to do and see. The room was nicely designed. Bed was fantastic. Comfortable, clean and linen was soft and well ironed. Shower was great with high pressure and hot water, carpark was quite tight but free of charge! Breakfast was perfect! Dinner at their restaurant/ pub was very tasty and very well made and fresh. Only down points: Room and bathroom could be cleaner. We stayed on the ground floor room so had some noise from the building entrance when guests went up and down the stairs - but nothing that will make us feel unpleasant. Would stay again and recommend!

The staff are always superb as is the breakfast and evening meal. Rooms always spotless. We have stayed here on four different occasions, clearly because we are always very happy with The Cricketers

Found the staff to be very welcoming. Our room (The Parks) was clean, well equipped and comfortable, and gave us a real "wow factor" when entering. The pub has great character and we enjoyed having a drink in there. Good selection for breakfast, which certainly set us up for our onward travels. We were disturbed slightly by some early morning traffic noise.

Staff are friendly and the drink and food were really nice. Rooms are very well done but I stayed in one room above the pub and the shower had very little pressure. The rooms over the other side of the car park are more modern and really nice

A lovely pub, with excellent staff. Food was very nice and room was nice, clean and confortable. The pub was lovely, open fire etc and had a nice atmosphere. I will certainly be staying again.
