Amazing breakfast, pool area with cabanas, clean rooms

I literally loveeeee Alko hotel! The people there are so friendly, warm, and welcoming especially the front desk and dining staff.. the food is to die for ! I ate at the restaurant atleast twice a day and the drinks are amazing! They’re so attentive and do their best to accommodate every request. Also housekeeping takes their job seriously and actually deep cleans when they come to clean!!! I want to go back to Columbia just to stay at this exact hotel. It was convenient to not one but TWO major shopping malls … one is literally around the corner and across the street.. plus loads of desayuno carts and other places to eat in the area. The area is safe and quiet and the people there really get to know you. I would live at Alko hotel if i could!!! 1000/10 all across the board!

Very cute place; we stayed for graduation, so close to the university.

Second time here and, although I do not regret, this time wasn’t as good as the first one. Why? Because the hotel is under construction and the noise is really bothersome. Breakfast is still very good but it had almost no variation throughout the week. A couple of days they were out of some items and didn’t replace them despite it was still early. However, this place is quite nice and a good option to stay in Cali.

This place is AMAZING! The property and the rooms is gorgeous and very spacious. The pool and lounge area will blow your mind- so very beautiful. And most importantly the staff here are so accommodating and friendly. I would give this place 20 stars if possible! ¡Este lugar es INCREÍBLE! La propiedad y las habitaciones son preciosas y muy espaciosas. La piscina y el salón te dejarán boquiabierto, muy bonitos. Y lo más importante es que el personal aquí es muy servicial y amable. ¡Le daría a este lugar 20 estrellas si fuera posible!

Everything went smoothly.

Awesome hotel. Big room, the staff is more than friendly, they are always happy and ready to help you. Breakfast is delicious and it is open in a wide schedule, so it is very unlikely you will miss it. Everything in this hotel is made with care and elegance. Best place to stay in Cali or at least in the southern part of the city. My only complaint is the absence of a gym or fitness center, but it seems to be ready soon. This minor issue doesn’t affect the extraordinary quality of this place.

Great stay while in Cali. Rooms are clean and great food! Sitting poolside while having breakfast was a great way to start the days. Staff are very friendly and accommodating! Would definitely stay again!

It was very relaxing at this hotel. staff very attentive to help in what ever way. Breakfast was great fresh fruit and different ones. Bread very fresh.

Description of rooms is misleading: there are no baths unless you’re in the suites. Also, the staff were usually great but weren’t always too good about opening the main gate when you arrive/exit the hotel. Otherwise, rooms were nice, breakfast was good, and the location was convenient, though definitely go out with a buddy at night.

We chose this hotel because its convenient location. Rooms are clean but a little bit worn out. The restaurant was being remodeled and we had to take our breakfast in our room. It all was OK.

The slender front desk gal who checked us into the hotel was the most unfriendly host we have ever encountered at a hotel. I travel in foreign countries ALOT. I never make a complaint like this but she should not be in the hospitality business. It was late so decided we would leave the following day losing the money for several days of a paid hotel. She was that rude.

Breakfast was great and service was excellent

We got one of the jaccuzzi suites for a birthday date night, the room was clean and spacious, there was a slight problem with the lock on the sliding glass door to get to the balcony where the jaccuzzi was but the maintenence guy got it opened up for us. The rooms are not sound proof i went to pick up our food that was delivered and could hear the music from yhe room that was not loudin the room. Yhe only other complaint I woild have is the speakers from the television were complete junk.
