You'll have to travel a long distance to reach the place given its geographical location: Far from everything and everybody. But that's what you came for, isn't it? Once the entirety of the peninsula crossed, having found yourself on a topsy-turvy road during a couple of kilometres more, then turning to the right 'somewhere' on a dirt track, you'll eventually face a solid portal with the word "dolphin" written on it. At that point, it would probably be already dark, so you'll just appreciate that moment when finding this oasis of calm. The place is full of life: Crabs, lizards, frogs, buzzing material and so on and so forth, some of them finding their way into your room by chance or just because they like the buzzing material for diner actually, which you won't blame them for. Yep, mother nature is no joke to you here and you'll remember it more when visiting the whereabouts deeper and deeper which is also a significant part of the charm. Each bungalow has everything appropriate to live a decent life the time you'll stay there with a minimum of comfort: Private bathroom, net against mosquitoes, a pleasant terrace where you can read, listen to music, or, why not, profit from the excellent wifi connection (!). Harshan the owner/manager will do his best to make your enjoyable possible. Overall a very good pick. Only the bedding might benefit from being renewed/washed more often. You don't need to know the smell of the blond rastafarians' cohort who came before you, do you?

The best bare bones guest house for a great price in an expensive town! Super lovely owner, very welcoming. Excellent for meditation retreats and beach readers.

Such a refreshing change after Negombo. The place overlooks the lagoon and beach and is cooled by a pleasant breeze. Harshan is an amazing host and can't do enough to make sure his guests enjoy their stay. There are not many places to eat within walking distance, but Harshan is happy to arrange food and it gave us the opportunity to try a range of local dishes and enjoy the company of the other guests. The rooms are simple, but comfortable with thoughtful touches such as adaptors and a shelf by the plug to make it easier to charge your devices. One room has an open air shower, which was a delight. For a chilled out time in lovely surroundings, you won't find much better. Thanks again Harshan for being such a brilliant host.

Endroit magnifique au bord du lagon avec un accueil sympathique et une boisson offerte. Bungalow simple et rustique très sympa, mais il y a quelques bêtes vu sa situation au bord de l'eau.
