The suite accommodation was very interesting with the bed on a mezzanine floor. This was very comfortable and was the strongest positive point of the stay. Sadly the internet (which also controlled the TV) was extremely patchy and unusable. The restaurant (a pub dating back to 1560) was charming but had problems with service which was slow. Food was OK but nothing special.

Very good staff, excellent safe parking for my motorbike. Food excellent and decent price, I don’t usually go for set meals but it worked for me. Beer is spot on ales. Butty Bach is served well. My ONLY gripe was that the room was 36deg because no one had bothered to open windows and ventilate it. The whole night it only dropped to 27deg with all windows open. Otherwise I would have given it more stars. Also the ‘continental’ breakfast is basically toast and cereals, no fresh coffee.

Great location, quick and easy check in. Fantastic room but WiFi hit and miss and no signal for TV. Dining options were good especially the taco's for starters.

Excellent little get away good food and fantastic service, could have done with nice coffee in the room as there was only instant coffee and in this day and age people like proper coffee

A last minute booking at this small out of the way historic inn. It was busy at the bar where we checked in so a short wait. Room was basic but well appointed, bed super comfy, shower was hot, tea and coffee in room. Self serve continental breakfast in a dining room was great. Food in the restaurant was amazing and beautifully presented. Set in a small town with adjoining farmland. Close the Hampton Court Castle and gardens.

Room was lovely and comfortable, spotlessly clean and much bigger than it looked on the website. Pub staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious. Breakfast options were plentiful and for the price of the deal, I couldn’t recommend highly enough. If it had been twice the price, it would have been worth it.

Good room, nice big bed. Continental breakfast included, entirely self service but had all you need. Meal in the pub was really delicious. Would happily return.

Evening meal was lovely, just a little disappointed about breakfast as we didn’t realise it was just cereals toast and yogurt. The fruit in the fruit bowl was a little soft.

Lovely room, good value for money. Fabulous shower. Able to have a meal at night if required. Only drawback was the room and bathroom was very dark....not enough lighting.

Like the view/ green view from the top bedroom. More option on the menu (for dining) will be useful for people who stay more than 3 days. Metal things attached to the key is a bit impractical/useless & it looks like had been scratched the door.

The pub, staff and food was fantastic. Room was comfortable but paper thin walls so not the quiet over night we hoped for, but still a pleasant stay away.

Very welcoming staff so that was a great first impression. Very well presented accommodation. Great shower. Plenty of beverages and having a sofa too in the evening was a bonus. Enjoyed some good food in the pub along with a very drinkable bottle of red. Great atmosphere. Bed was very comfortable. It is only self serve continental breakfast of cereal, yoghurt and toast. But price we paid was ok for that. Bad points - road was noisy but ear plugs sorted that out. Also need an eye mask as the roof window doesn’t have blind but apart from those points, I’d stay here again.
