We stayed here for one night and was extremely happy with it. The staff there was very friendly and helpful. The manager told us where to park at Giethoorn and where to hire a boat enthusiastically. Parking is easy, we parked right outside the premises. Dinner is very nice and price is reasonable. Most guests sit outside to have drinks and get back indoors to eat as it was windy. However, there is no lift, it will cause some problems with heavy luggages. We packed only the essential items to bring them into our room and leave other things in our car. It was not a problem for us.

A magnificent heritage hotel set in beautiful surrounds makes a stay here one that you will always remember fondly. The excellent evening meal served outdoors due to the hot weather could not be faulted. Breakfast the following morning provided a fitting finale to a memorable stay.

This place was gorgeous! My wife and I loved it. Very nice staff, great food and drink and a very unique atmosphere. If you’re visiting the area and/or Giethoorn, I highly recommend spending a couple of nights here.

I chose to stay in Vollehove completely based on the hotel which is an old palace. It was an excellent decision. The building and grounds are beautiful and wonderfully maintained. The hotel staff is so friendly and does everything to make us feel welcome. The dinner we had in the exquisite dining room was perfect! What a perfect way yo end a two week trip through the Netherlands.

Pieterjan has been a great host making sure that everything is right. The food was delicious.

Heel fijn hotel, goeie voorzieningen in een rustige omgeving, gratis en voldoende parkeergelegenheid heerlijk ontbijt met veel variatie. Aanrader!

prachtige omgeving, buitenzijde hotel chique, inrichting wat oubollig, maar voor wie er van houdt niets mis mee.
