Very kind staff, quiet room

The property is old so a funky smell comes with that. I did find mold on the ceilings in the stairwell and hall. The breakfast was lackluster and nothing to be desired, just glad it came with the stay. The shower was clean but didnt work well and dont expect it to be hot. Overall i wouldnt stay there again i would pay a bit more and get something much nicer.

Friendly staff on arrival. fast checkin. Other staff during the stay were not friendly. One guy was playing on his phone when we walked in, and he didn’t lift his head to look up at us, that is, until we said good night. No security at night. Secure FOB to enter the building from the front and back. Back was dimly lit. Access to the building from the car park was good. Staff was leaving when we arrived from dinner. He didn’t stay around to make sure we got inside. Very unfriendly. We had to say good night to get a response; otherwise he would have passed us straight. Breakfast staff was helpful. Need variety of fruit serving. We got cold pineapples. Add apples or low-sugar fruit for diabetic persons; or even bananas, they’re cheap. Eggs, and broccoli were cold. We didn’t take the sausage. Needed a microwave to heat up breakfast. Limited hot beverage options. Only coffee and Chinese tea was available, already made. Some tea bags and hot water would be nice for choices. The bathroom was clean, but there was a long hair on the bathroom tub; It wasn’t mine. The TV came on, but no volume. The volume control on the remote wasn’t working. AC worked well but noisy. The pool was open at 2:30pm to 10:30pm. We stayed one night and returned from dinner at 10:30pm; which meant we did not have access to the pool the next morning before checkout. Disappointed. No Threadmill in the exercise room. We went out to walk on the street. These concerns are a deterrent for future stays.

C'est tres vieux, ca manque de rénovations. Le lobby, ce nest pas tres invitant, ca ne sent pas super bon. Les chambres sont correct mais sans plus, aucune climatisation a notre arrivé, il faisait 30° dans la chambre, le personnel aurait pu démarrer la clim.. a 250$/une nuit, cest tres cher payer pour ce type d'hebergement.

When we arrived, we had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk — no one was there, which was very inconvenient. There was also a very strong and unpleasant smell throughout the hotel that ruined the first impression. Breakfast was extremely disappointing. The options were limited to eggs, sausages, bread, yogurt, canned pineapple, tea, and coffee. There was no variety, and everything looked cheap and unappetizing. The sausages were clearly spoiled — we felt sick afterward. The canned pineapple tasted bad and was not fresh. When I went to request an iron, towels, and an ironing board (none of which were in the room), I had to walk around the hotel for about 5 minutes trying to find someone — again, no one was at the front desk. On the positive side, the room itself was clean, and the hotel’s location was convenient. Other than that, we were very disappointed and would not want to stay here again.

I stayed in a honeymoon suite. The room is charming with nice furniture and a bathtub bigger than my childhood pool. There are no elevators, no entrances without stairs. As a disabled person, I would have liked to know this ahead of time. There is only one microwave and ice machine in the hotel and it is downstairs . It works and I never dealt with a line, but for the most part I avoided taking home food so I wouldn’t have to make the trip. No ice bucket in room, luckily we had a big thermos. The A/C in the room was off when we arrived, but cooled down the room by the next day. That said, I think it may have aggravated my asthma as several days after turning it on I woke up with pain breathing. The property is old and you can tell. Needs renovation. Overall, the things it does well are amazing, and the things it lacks are really bad. I did enjoy my stay though. It was clean and comfortable for the most part.

Super easy to understand the layout of the hotel.

The beds were very comfortable.

The staff was very nice, accommodating. Dont expect a very high end Manor, its on the basic side but the staff do their best to accomodate.

Was a decent hotel! Breakfast was a but disappointing: Toast, waffles, cereal, steamed vegetables, sausages and hard boiled eggs. Room could have benefited from a bit more cleaning throughout (i.e. dust, stains, hair, etc.)

Staff was pleasant and helpful. Conveniently located to everywhere we wanted to visit.

‘Manor’ is a big stretch! The photos online do not reflect the terrible condition within this motel. The room I stayed in may have been the most outdated room I have stayed in in 25 years. One and done!

We like it, although it is a bit old but very clean. Staff is very nice. Especially the lady who serves the breakfast.

The property offered rooms with three beds, which was great for our needs. Very easy drive to the falls and a lot of dining options nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. checking in and out was quick and easy. The space breakfast was served was not very pleasant. The food offerings were okay but we chose to have breakfast elsewhere after our second night. We did not use the pool but it was clean and would be great on a hotter day. The guidebook in the room was helpful but could use an update.

Staff was friendly, I liked the furniture accents in the room, it’s a more dated inn which makes it unique! It was clean enough but felt like maybe it could have used an extra vacuum! Over all stay was good!

Nice room, friendly, helpful staff. Bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. Needed an elevator.

Property is very pretty from outside and needs maintenance indoors. Bed was clean and comfortable, but walls/doors are peeling paint. Breakfast is sufficient. Location is convenient. Staff were helpful, except for the maintenance guy who mistakenly tried to get into our room at 9:30 PM while our toddler was asleep. Pleased with overall value at $80CAD per night, would have been disappointed at $140.

Funny very musty smell. Room smelled like moth balls and chlorine, staff really didn't seem to care. Never had the breakfast, but major plus on the bed, it was extremely comfortable
