It started badly from Traveloka. Photos and room descriptions here are misleading. We paid extra for a room that is the same price as the cheapest room, and the worst is that they post old photos, according to a hotel staff. We had to change room twice and it’s impossible to find a room without an issue. The first room was the worst, the whole 15th floor is very humid and I got sick from allergies since the first day of my stay. The second room was on 14th floor with no humidity issue, but we couldn’t adjust the AC which is on full power the whole day and we only had a choice to turn it off. My sickness got worse since I couldn’t stand the coldness and they couldn’t fix the AC. The third room’s AC was totally fine, but the fridge is not really cooling anything. The hassles we had to deal with were not just about changing the room and waiting for the resolution, but also little matters like the iron got huge 3 burn marks, or the ceiling plaster was falling off, or the wifi stopped us from accessing sites on one day, or the QR to order hotel accessories didn’t work at all. The only positive side is that the hotel location is good, the view is nice, rooms are spacious, and the staff is accommodating, bathroom is always clean.
