The staff is very friendly, the rooms are spacious.

The hotel staff was friendly, but some areas were undergoing renovations, so access to some public areas was a bit convoluted. They should have been informed beforehand.

I wish that the hotel informed the guests that they are having massive renovations.

The room was actually comfortable and large, although the furniture was antique. It was clean, but the old building and interior made everything feel dated but comfortable. I was tired of having to climb the stairs to the third floor, as it was still under renovation and there was no elevator. After walking around the Braga area, I wanted to rest right away, but I had to exercise by climbing the stairs. It was a bit difficult to sleep at night because the street was noisy with traffic. But if asked if I would stay here again, I would, but maybe look for a quieter area. Maybe a room a little further away from the traffic noise and with an elevator that was already accessible.

The hotel is creepy, it's old. Even though it's a 5-star hotel, there are so many strange noises. I'm fed up🥹

Please fix it immediately, especially the bathroom. The hot water is difficult to control, the towels are overdue for replacement as they're no longer absorbent and smell a bit off, and the bathroom smells awful. Even though it's an old hotel, cleanliness still needs to be maintained; it's apparent that almost all the equipment hasn't been updated at all.

The advantages are a strategic location on Jl. Braga, easy to find food, and good sightseeing. The disadvantages are that the hotel is old and under renovation... you can imagine.... There are not many food choices for breakfast.

Long weekend chose this hotel which is close to Braga, nice, complete facilities.

Just once is enough… I don’t understand… how can this hotel be categorized as 5 stars… old hotel… Customer comfort is also disappointing.. asked for a non-smoking room…… the answer is yes… but given a flexible room… meaning smoking or not… funny… how come there is a flexible room? Does the CS not know what a non-smoking room is? I am personally very disappointed… and I just heard there are flexible rooms… smoking or not… just once is enough… Oh my… until everything smells of cigarettes… didn’t sleep well all night… only the parking attendant was somewhat satisfactory.

Placed in a room with a smoking area, so the smell of smoke was bad. Complained, and they tried to solve it with odour spray, but it didn't work. All the furniture and bed sheets are old.

In March 2026, it is under renovation. Hopefully, in the future, every room will be more comfortable, because the condition of the room and its contents are starting to look worn out, too old😢

The room was okay... but it didn't live up to its star rating. It was clean, but the building was so old that it felt dated.

The location is OK, but the hotel comfort is very lacking, there is only 1 lift access and cleanliness is not well maintained.

1. The location is very strategic if you want to go to Braga, Jl. Asia Afrika is very close… 2. The hotel is very old and the furniture inside needs to be replaced and a lot of improvements, this hotel should not be a 5 star anymore, it should be downgraded to a 3 star hotel. 3. The food is quite varied, okay. 4. My husband's jeans were left in the closet when checking out, the items were sent but the money in my husband's pocket was no longer there.

First time staying at the Grand Hotel Preanger, the oldest hotel in Bandung but still well maintained, recently renovated, bright, friendly staff, originally bought a deluxe type, upgraded to a suite, the room is really big, really cool, there is a bath tub, my son really liked it, so it is close to the road but not noisy, the bed is comfortable, lots of parking, basically want to come back again if I go to Bandung, the museum is being renovated.
