Hotel Kindli is a wonderful combination of fascinating history (built in15th century) and upscale modernity. It is located in the middle of Zurich's Old Town, within short walking distance of the famous Bahnhofstrasse and elegant boutiques. It has 20 rooms and six business apartments, which are individually designed to convey a simple elegance and warmth. The comfort of my room provided a good night’s rest, which was coupled with an exceptional breakfast to start my day of travel. I was particularly impressed with the staff. They were warm, friendly and helpful day and night. I want to especially thank Ramona, Mike, Roman, and Alex who were superb front desk clerks. They were very helpful and insightful in answering my questions. I also want to thank Amadea (Latin-"Beloved of God") for her sparkling personality. She made breakfast a delight every morning. Her positive attitude and infectious joy was an excellent start for the seven days I was there. I would wholeheartedly commend Hotel Kindli to anyone planning to stay in Zurich. I also want to commend the proprietress, Gisela Lacher for a job well done. She has given this historic landmark a special touch that will long be remembered after its guests have headed home. Staff is wonderful. Hotel is very clean and in a great location. Very short walking distance to restaurants, shopping and historic buildings.

Not easy to get to but once there we had a lovely stay. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Coffee, water and pastries are always available. If I had one complaint, the room temperature was too hot and we could not control the settings, however we managed by opening a window! We would definitely stay here again!

Hotel Kindli ticked all the boxes. Regal, quaint, top notch service, super clean and comfortable and the dining staff were professionals.

Its just perfect, outstanding service. My only complain ubers wont come by the front door just taxis, because they need a Special permit. But that might just affect from and to AirPort. Would come back defenetily

Hotel Kindli is beautiful! The rooms are large and extra comfortable. The breakfast is delicious. And most important, the entire staff are very helpful and attended to our every need. The area shopping and fantastic restaurants were a plus!! Highly recommend

the staff are fantastic and friendly however the facility and room are just ok , rooms are small , Air conditioning was occasionally noisy but room in general was quiet , dinner restaurant was unreasonably expensive for value , breakfast , what breakfast ? very limited options coffee , juice , yougurt , ham piece , cheese , bread ,but eggs come from kitchen , and that’s it eggs , found out day 3 they also have bacon , nothing more probably worst european breakfast we’ve ever had , i don’t understand the high ratings on breakfast , overall ok about 15 minute walk to many tour meeting spots

Great location, friendly staff and comfortable toom

This is a charming small hotel. Though dated, rooms are cozy and bathrooms are acceptable. Staff were always helpful. The dining, breakfast area is a charming room. Food was outstanding. Parking was 10 minute walk, but it was up stairs and down stairs, expensive of course…but safe and very convenient by city standards. Old city area of Zurich is a very special place!
