It was out from town and there did not seem to be much nearby besides apartments. The staff had limited English and did not understand when I asked what time did the sauna close. The curtains were only sheer which made it difficult to sleep in when the sun rose 5am in May. A crack in a mirror in the room was covered with stickers.

Pas de restaurant et encore moins de petit déjeuner. La douche ne disposait pas d'eau chaude. Uniquement au lavabo

We have been to this hotel a few months ago and since it is the only hotel in Šiauliai on this platform, we had to choose it again. This time the room was a bit better: all the windows had handles, all the blinds were working, there was hot water, it had a wardrobe. However, the wardrobe doors were squeaking, so we tried to use it as rarely as possible. This room doesn't have a fridge, but it has an electric kettle and mugs (bring your own tea/coffee). There wasn't a hairdryer, but we asked at the reception and got it. There are a bunch of pigeons roaming outside on the roof and sometimes even sitting on a windowsill. The bed is double with nice mattress. The rooms are non-smoking, but someone somewhere was smoking and the smoke was going into our room. We told about this during the check out and we were advised to tell this immediately next time, they might do something about this. (We didn't do this, because it was the middle of the night and one of us wanted to get up - there is no phone in the room.)

In ok neighbourhood, quite nice for dogs. Own, free parking. Acceptable english in reception, very helpful. Worn out hotel, but worth every euro. Very quiet night in good beds.

On the first sight, the hotel looks nice, the receptionist was friendly, room comfortable. It has a fridge and electric kettle with cups, glasses, small plates and spoons. But the longer you stay, the more drawbacks you notice. The handles from two out of three windows were removed and so only last one could be opened. It was impossible to either lift the blinds or keep them lifted. The fridge door can't be completely shut and the melting ice from the freezer compartment soaked our food. The toilet seat is not properly screwed and can almost slide off. Half of the towel hanger is broken and only one towel can be hung properly. The shower drain is a bit clogged and longer showers might make the water to run over the edge. The doors of the room stayed closed only when locked. I saw large gaps between the doors and the frame in other rooms at the corridor. However, the bed was comfy, very soft. And at least they came to warn us that the water might disappear due to broken pipe (hot water at that time was already only room temperature that evening).
