We loved our 1 night stay at this property and wished we could have stayed longer. Located in a quaint small town in a lovely country setting, it was the perfect way to start our travels in Spain. The restaurants in town weren't open the night we were there, but the staff gave excellent recommendations for options in nearby Durango. The breakfast the next morning was delicious and relaxing in the tastefully decorated breakfast area. Staff were so accommodating and helpful with their recommendations of things to do in the area. Especially the tip about needing a 1 Euro coin to turn the lights on at the beautiful church in Elorrio. Thank you!

Really attractive and nicely furnished converted old building. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was just about perfect. Garai is a lovely village and has two magnificent restaurants within a 10 minute walk, ideal for the tasting menu with accompanying wines. A little fitness is needed as the walk up to the hotel from the car park is quite strenuous and there are a few flights of stairs if you are in one of the upper rooms. Our room on the top floor only had a skylight so we didn't have a view of the mountains and valley from the room which was a shame but didn't detract from our 4 night stay. Would have no hesitation in returning in the future. A magical area with hotel to match.

Accueil très agréable, petit déjeuner délicieux et soigné . Le parking est un peu eloigné , ce qui contribue au calme de cet emplacement unique. A recommander.

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour. Tout était parfait, propre et bien aménagé. L'hôtel a beaucoup de charme, l'endroit est splendide. Le personnel est très accueillant, à l'écoute et de bons conseils. Le petit déjeuner était incroyable, tant sur la qualité que la quantité. Nous recommandons sans hésiter cet endroit.

Un lugar acogedor.

Hotel rural elegante con habitaciones con mucho estilo. El desayuno en el porche imprescindible además está riquísimo. Jasone siempre está dispuesta a ayudarte. Nos recomendó un paseo muy bonito a las faldas del Amboto. Ideal para pasar el fin de semana.
