Top floor for ensuite was hard for an older person, but the Staff were excellent

Beautiful guest house, good continental breakfast, bus stop restaurants and supermarket near.

This property was clean and looked recently renovated. What a nice surprise considering some previous reviews. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Owner was very nice. Complimentary breakfast is continental; includes some fruits, cereals, toast, juice, tea, and coffee. Room smelled a little old/strange each time we walked in - likely the radiator - but we got used to it once we settled in. We enjoyed the big window with big, thick curtains in our room - lots of privacy and sunlight. We suggest bringing your own pillow. Overall, you get what you pay for. We wanted a cheap room

Overall great. The room was a bit cold but there was a heater and other helpful items which was nice. The breakfast was great. The location was amazing and super close to everything we wanted to experience. The service was very helpful, even providing headphones for a whole day when we forgot to bring some (for an audio guide). The cleanliness was good enough and quite average for smaller hotels.

Terrific location. Great staff who were happy to chat, helpful and friendly. Simple rooms but everything you needed and homely. Comfy and welcoming. Would definitely return, great for price for me and my daughter. Very happy with our stay

Lovely large room in a great location with plenty of shops, restaurants and public transport very close by, walkable to the city centre if you prefer. Large entertainment complex nearby with cinema, bowling etc. staff are very friendly and continental breakfast included with a sufficient amount of choice. Beds are comfortable and all your basics needed included in the room with tea/coffee facilities. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Perfect place to stay while visiting Edinburgh. Round the corner from several bus stops and the train station. Next to a supermarket. Several food options nearby. Breakfast was brilliant. The ensuite room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a great stay at Dalry Guesthouse. I wasn't looking for luxury. I was looking for comfort and convenience. And that I got. Bed was comfortable. Was never too warm or too cold. Owners were friendly and helpful. And the location was perfect! Being a single woman traveling alone for the first time. I never felt uncomfortable. Having the grocery store next door and bus stop feet away was a plus.

Great spot in Edinburgh. Conveniently located for walking or transport. Staff was helpful.

Near downtown, decent price for the area

Host was just not friendly . Knew I had a shared toilet and shower but both were seperare,my room looked out onto a shed , shower spat out the water ,big bins outside main entrance Horrible street

Stayed here for 2 nights. The staff are very friendly. Was great to have the breakfast included. Bonus that the room had plugs with built in multi-country outlets.

Very friendly staff. The room was perfect for us. Breakfast was also perfect. We were able to store our luggage in the reception both prior to checkin and after checkout - at no cost. Good bus connections close by. Stores and restaurants nearby.

didn’t stay the second night. I want Expedia to refund me for the second night that we didn’t use. The owner was very nice.

My husband and I had a very nice time staying at the Dalry Guesthouse!! It is a nice quite spot to stay at.
