Nice room, excellent staff at supper. Breakfast was not the best, eggs benedict was a disappointment, the sauce was very thin and runny.

Fabulous location, friendly staff and great food and drinks.

Lovely staff very helpful and couldn’t do enough for you .A real credit to the pub. The meal wasn’t as good as we expected it to be .Defiantly no wow factor and a little undercooked . Plenty of choices for breakfast however the cooked breakfast wasn’t that nice and the yogurts were on their use by date .The room was extremely disappointing for a superior plus ! There was excrement inside the toilet , black hairs inside the bath, the extractor fan was full of dirt and dust .The shower heads were filthy and didn’t work properly as was the shower doors . Fully refurbed ?? I’m not sure it has been. Although it was clear it was a dog friendly place I think there should be limits in place as not everyone wants to sit and eat or drink with dogs .Overall we did have a nice time but I think that was down to the staff being so nice and how we made it ourselves .

It was only a short visit but would have stopped longer if it would have been possible. Really impressed with the pub and accommodation.

Excellent stay would recommend to anyone lovely evening meal and fantastic breakfast and we asked if we could move rooms and it wasn't a problem Staff were all very friendly plenty of car parking and great location

room was small and very cramped large step up into the shower and basin plg didnt work other wise a great pub with rooms and will stay again

A lovely pub with staff so friendly they couldn’t do enough for you, lovely food served with a smile. Very clean rooms . The pub is in a very good position for the high street and canals.

Very enjoyable over night stay - one small issue with a remote that wouldn't work - but other than that very pleasant. Staff were all very helpful and friendly and room was clean, comfortable and nicely furnished.

Great on every level. Being on the top floor meant we got a great nights sleep. A drink at the bar was a bonus surprise.

Perfect for our needs especially having it’s own parking in the middle of a busy little town

3rd visit staying here. Perfection from start to finish. The landlord does a wonderful job!. Check in is very easy with very friendly staff. The room is spotlessly clean & the bed is super comfortable ( I wish I could've had breakfast in bed!!😆). Breakfast is plentiful & of a high quality. Will be back for a 4th time!

Right in the centre of town, a lively spot although our room was quiet. Renovated many times over the years so stairs go up and then down before arriving at the room. The dinner and breakfast were both excellent. Our room was fairly compact but fine for a night.

First time at the woolly sheep and it was excellent. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was much better than expected. It was quiet through the night and breakfast was the best hotel food that I have ever had. Not many hotels cater so well for vegetarians. The poached egg was just as it should be. Well done
