We loved our stay. Front desk staff was great, very patient with non techie ladies. Cafe had wonderful coffee and food. Woke up to an exciting show of a huge cruise ship backing in. Spectacular. Thank you!

Very clean and comfortable!! We stayed here on our wedding night and were very happy with the room and the friendly staff! The view was awesome! The bed was so cozy!! Loved everything about it

From the moment we checked in, our stay was fantastic! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable. The beds are super comfortable. The hotel is so close to everything that we don’t even need to use our car the whole stay. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed at the Alt Hotel in St. John’s for 6 days and loved it. The location was amazing, the room was very well laid out and comfortable and the lobby and outdoor area had lots of comfortable places to sit if you didn’t want to be in your room. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Hreat dtay in a beautiful hotel & setting with fantastic restaurants

Simple but clean and stylish room which was quiet and had a giant puffin on the wall (cute!). Didn’t eat at the restaurant but the pastries at the adjoining cafe were delicious. Great location, loved having a water view room.

Great location. Directly on the downtown street with shops, pubs, restaurants. Every other street is a steep uphill to get to, but Water St is ideal. Plus the view from the rooms towards the harbour is nice. It's a working harbour, but you could still get a nice view, probably better than other hotels.Cafe had great coffee and breakfast (quiche and frittata). St. John's is much cooler during July than we are used to in Toronto, and has a lot more rain. Loved that the hotel supplied umbrellas at the front desk, but sometimes the wind made it too hard to keep them open. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Very modern looking. Gym has a bike, treadmill, elliptical, free weights and a cable machine. Small, but adequate for our 5 day visit. Staff was friendly and accomodating.

Simple, clean, comfortable. Friendly and polite service. Walkable to downtown St. John. Cafe and restaurant below were absolutely amazing.

This is the best hotel I have ever been to. The staff could not do enough to make you comfortable. The customer service was exceptional.
