The air conditioning in the room was excellent. Unfortunately, there was no bottled water provided. There was only a water dispenser and an electric kettle.

A budget-friendly hotel in the tourist area of Penang Island, Malaysia, with a very strategic location. Highly recommended.

On our first day of stay, we were given a room facing the street. The constant crowing disturbed our sleep. On the second day, we asked to move rooms, and the hotel staff quickly switched us to a room facing the pool. Thank you, we are no longer disturbed by the crows 😊. Hopefully, the Malaysian government will soon take action to prevent crows from disturbing tourists. The Travelodge Hotel is clean and comfortable, the environment is also clean, the staff are friendly and kind. The location is very strategic, around the hotel there are many restaurants, food stalls, even finding fresh fruit is easy. There are many supermarkets and pharmacies.

Overall, it was pretty good. Occupancy rates were high, so extending for just one day wasn't possible.

Staying at Travelodge Penang was very pleasant, close to eateries, in the heart of the city and close to well-known hospitals.

Beds are small. The bathroom is not well lit. The sink is sticky. Teaspoons on the table are sticky and dirty. Hangers are too high for standard Asian people.

It was a pleasant, clean hotel with decent facilities, a swimming pool, and free water refills. The staff was supportive. There were lots of food vendors nearby. Eating durian next to the hotel was delicious. So happy...

Near New Lane food court, Watson beside hotel. Wellings in front of hotel and many food stands in front and all along the way left and right of the hotel. Near Island Hospital, Gleneagles Hospital. Very comfortable for walking along. Famous Nasi Kandar in Malaysian open 24 hours is Nasi Kandar Pelita in front of the hotel. Clean room and bathroom. There are seats in the bathroom suitable for the elderly.
