The receptionist was very helpful; he directed us to park the motorbike in a safe area within lockable hotel grounds. Room was large, clean and well-appointed. We didn’t test the en suite sauna or whirlpool bath but the shower was good and the bed comfortable. On thisi occasion it suited us that it was a room-only booking so we could skip breakfast and get on the road.

We like the location of the hotel and the helpfulness of the staff. However, the room was not as clean as I would like and the parking can be a problem.

Weekend in Viborg, Palads Hotel a great base to explore Jutland. Stayed in the older section, pretty basic but comfortable and clean, with a quirky feel!

Very nice stay in a small apartment away from the main hotel. Everything was clean and neat, but it was a bit annoying that you had to go out and across the street to get breakfast, especially as I am disabled, and it was raining, so we got really wet. Also, the electricity went in our apartment, so we had to get someone from the main hotel to fix it. But overall good.

The Palads Hotel is privately owned by a couple who make each and every guest feel at home. The hotel itself is a homely mix of old and newly renovated. The rooms are well appointed with recently renovated bathrooms some with jacuzzi and sauna. The beds are comfortable. Blinds would be great, as the light from the streets outside the windows is quite bright. The carpets overall could use a makeover - they are all old. But somehow this just makes the place a little more like a small family owned Austrian ski resort. The restaurant is run by a very proficient woman, who serves great food. Breakfast is at par with the best 5 star hotels, we have stayed in around the world. We absolutely recommend this hotel.

This is an older hotel. Dated in the hallways and common spaces, but the room was very clean and so was the bathroom. Spaces were small and compact, but very comfortable. the breakfast was very very noce. Good Value for the price we paid.

For a couple of nights on business, this hotel does the job, pretty basic but clean and safe. The rooms are spread over a couple of different buildings but all close to reception and if you book deluxe you even get a sauna. Breakfast is OK but pretty basic, but does at least give you a good hot coffee in the morning. Does the job well in what is really a quite town off the big city circuit.

Hotel and stay was fine if a bit dated. Everyone was very helpful. Didn't have time to use it, but a personal sauna in your room was a first for me! Comfy bed, wifi worked well and a good shower - those are the key elements for me on a business trip, and it ticked all those boxes.

Palads hotel is not a Palace Hotel! The hotel exists out of a collection of buildings with rooms in 1001 styles, some very “vintage” with a remarkable collection of of pictures from Danish VIPs or european royal families. Very special are some of the bathrooms with multiple showerheads. The rooms are clean and in general comfortable, most of them equipped with a small “cupboard” kitchen. One negative point is the weak WIFI signal, but there is also wired internet connection in the rooms. A big plus is the location in the city center with free hotelparking.
