I quite like The Vault’s relaxing casual style. Interior of the room is simple but modern twist. Once you used it, feel like home. I like reception area’s free tea and coffee self service. We went out then came back hotel and bit rest at ground floor sofa, then went back shopping again (shopping area is just opposite side of road). We requested same room as our last year’s stay. They gave us that room was very appreciated. The breakfast was reasonable spreads. Centre of Longyearbyen town, very handy for shopping and sightseeing.

The hotel was perfect... clean and quiet, walkable to the main shopping and dining area, and we had a beautiful view of the mountains. Everyone was very nice.

Staff are welcoming and the breakfast is great. The hotel is in the town centre. But you need to walk a bit and go through a bridge between the airport shuttle bus stop to the hotel door. (Taxi can drive to the hotel door step. ) There is a grey dust spot on my quilt cover.

There is nothing at all i disliked for my stay here at the Vault. I enjoyed my quietness the most. Thank you for everything ❤️

I have never been to a hotel where you have to take your shoes off at the door. They do provide wool slippers in your room. The local custom dates back to when the coal miners were told to take their shoes off because they were so dirty. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was good. The room was fine. I would use this hotel again

We had an amazing time in Svalbard Polfareren! I’ll never forget the experience. Cozy hotel, great location, yummy breakfast and staffs were friendly and accommodating. Our room was big and had the Mountain View! Shout out to Ana for providing exceptional service! Thank you for helping us all the way! Once again, what a lovely place!

The people working at The Vault were very easy to talk to. Tobias and Anna were exceptional. It is centrally located to all the food and shopping options.

Close to the town centre, shuttle from the airport drops you off. If you can't manage the stais walk around the road to the main entrance

The Vault is a great option in Longyearbyen. Rooms are comfortable and clean and new. Breakfast is excellent. And, like everything in Longyearbyen, the Vault is walking distance to everything.

Great hotel location and amenities. Would highly recommend for our stay in Longyearbyen. Easy access to everything in and around town.

the staff was superking and available 24/7. the hotel is new/well maintained. Warm clean and quiet. A rich breakfast is available for several hours in the am and fresh coffee and tea available all day at the reception or in your room. The location is optimal, bang in the centre but recessed frm the main road. I would happily go back there again

All the hotels in Svalbard are a little pricey, but this one is in the center of town, close to UNIS (the university center) and the shop, and it has a very nice breakfast. Best of all is the helpful and pleasant front desk people. The Vault offers dinner but didn't say anything about it when I checked in and have no obvious signs for it. Because I learned about it only when I left, I cannot judge it, though I can report that it is some kind of Asian fusion restaurant. But many restaurants are a very short walk away.
