Left behind items are already gone after only 2 hours huhu be careful and be more careful if you want to stay overnight here. Other star hotels in Surabaya if there are items left behind immediately call and give a warning this one on WA the response is slow hikss even though it is a 5 star quite disappointed with this experience but for the room the facilities and food are all okayeee

The room is spacious and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This hotel is quite old, so it may need some touch.

The staff is friendly, but unfortunately there is no free valet, also the kids club is not well maintained, there are not many kinds of toys, the swimming pool looks old.

Overall shangrila is very comfortable and always our choice when in Surabaya, but unfortunately the restaurant staff named Iswari is not very helpful, and very disappointing. Does not provide a solution. Fortunately we made a complaint to the receptionist and were very helped by Mrs. Lia as FOM. Please maintain it, it's a shame that the image of shangrila is made bad because of the behavior of the restaurant staff. For the excellent room, it is very comfortable and there are no obstacles. Thankyouu ❤️

The Horizon Club Deluxe Room offered spacious comfort and tasteful furnishings, providing a warm and homey atmosphere. The Horizon Club privileges, including afternoon coffee and evening cocktails, added a touch of luxury to the experience. The hotel’s facilities, from the outdoor swimming pool with its serene ambiance to the diverse dining options, were exceptional. Jamoo Restaurant’s breakfast buffet, featuring a wide range of international and local dishes, was a delightful culinary journey. The attentive staff and thoughtful amenities made the stay unforgettable. I highly recommend Shangri-La Surabaya for anyone seeking a luxurious and memorable stay in the heart of the city.

Property is not so new, but still very well maintained. Staff is friendly from bell boy, check-in, to the gym staff. Bonus tip, each room comes with complimentary 1 hour tennis court use. A little minus point for somewhat inconvenient parking. It is not directly connected to the main building, have to walk through the ballroom for access.
