Overall Experience We stayed for 4 days/3 nights in a two-bedroom apartment and had a generally positive stay. The hotel’s spacious grounds and friendly staff made our trip enjoyable. We especially appreciated the lovely gardens and jogging trail on-site, as well as the professionalism of the team. That said, we did encounter a few minor inconveniences (distance to facilities, breakfast rules) that future guests might want to note. Apartment Rooms Spacious and Clean: The two-bedroom apartment was roomy and well-maintained. We found the housekeeping service very thorough and attentive (the attendant has over 20 years of experience and it showed!). Bathroom Setup: The bathroom only had a bathtub (no separate shower), which can be tricky for those needing quick showers or very unfortunate for elderly and/or performing wudhu/prayer. It’s worth preparing for this in advance (e.g. having a separate shower box). Amenities: The apartment had a kitchenette but lacked some small conveniences. For example, there was no water dispenser, and the electrical outlets were European-style only. We needed plug adapters during our stay. It would be helpful for guests to bring adapters or ask the hotel in advance. Location: We requested a room closer to the lobby (for easier access with an elderly parent), but we end up with a unit was at the far end of the property. This meant long walks to dining areas and the lobby for our parent. Guests with mobility issues should consider reminding the hotel about special needs when booking. Nearby Activities On-site Recreation: The hotel grounds themselves are beautiful. We loved walking and jogging along the landscaped paths, and spending time in the gardens. The outdoor pool is a nice family spot (though it’s often busy with kids). Local Attractions: Depending on your travel plans, the area offers various activities. If you’re in the city, there may be museums or malls nearby. Family-Friendly: The setting is very family-friendly (kid pool, open spaces, etc.), which is great if you’re traveling with children. Safety Secure Environment: We felt very safe throughout our stay. The hotel has security on duty and well-lit pathways at night. The staff were attentive and friendly at all hours. Staff Vigilance: There is 24-hour reception and guards, which adds peace of mind. We never had any security concerns on the premises. Walkability On-Site Walking: The property is pleasant to walk around, with paved trails and garden paths. It’s easy to explore the grounds on foot, even for an evening stroll. In our case, due to the distance of our room from the lobby, the dining area, and the park place, we mostly stayed on-site. Access to City: If you wish to explore beyond the hotel, be aware that some attractions (shops, restaurants, tourist sites) may not be within easy walking distance. You might need a car or taxi to reach downtown or popular areas. Food & Drinks Breakfast Buffet: Breakfast was included and had a variety but remained similar during the 3 breakfast days, especially the vegetables variety. The made-to-order egg station was a highlight – the omelets and egg dishes were tasty. As we stayed during Eid days, the "lontong kuah" was far below our expectation. Dress Code Note: The hotel has a rule against entering the breakfast area in hotel slippers. (We didn’t realize this at first and it caused us to forfeit one prepaid breakfast.) Future guests should be aware of this policy. The hotel might consider clearer signage or more flexible options for guests who accidentally overlook it. Menu Variety: The buffet included both Western and some local dishes. Since we stayed over Eid holiday, it would be nice if special seasonal dishes (e.g. kuah ketupat during Eid) were made special (feels like home). Suggestions: More soup options or a varied bakso station could make breakfast even more enjoyable. As it was, aside from a rotating soto ayam/mie corner, the menu was quite similar each day. Staff: The service at breakfast was excellent. For example, Pak Rolando (at the F&B team) was exceptionally kind and helpful, and really made the dining experience pleasant. Noteworthy Details Housekeeping & Staff: We were very impressed with several staff members. Pak Reno (from the housekeeping/gardening team) was passionate and knowledgeable about his work – he even showed us around the gardens and explained the plants. His dedication truly stood out, and the hotel is lucky to have him. We hope management recognizes his great work. Garden Team: The gardeners were friendly and enthusiastic. They often spoke with guests and loved to show off the variety of trees and flowers. This personal touch was a lovely bonus. Special Requests: If you have special needs (like being near the lobby, needing lower floors, or any accessibility requirement), be sure to emphasize this when booking. The hotel staff is willing to help, but it seems some requests can be overlooked without a reminder. Check-Out: Our check-out was quick and hassle-free, which was a nice way to end the stay. Overall Impression: The hotel is generally very nice — peaceful and well-maintained. The combination of beautiful outdoor areas and attentive staff made our stay enjoyable. Summary for Others: We really enjoyed our stay and found the hotel’s highlights to be its lush gardens, jogging track, and friendly personnel. For future guests, keep in mind the walking distances on-site, the bathroom setup, and the no house-sandal's code. Otherwise, the place offers a comfortable and pleasant experience, especially if you appreciate greenery atmosphere.
