This six room boutique Hotel was simply incredible. It is important to know that you are in the Medina, the Old City. It is chaotic, raw, busy and not easy to navigate in terms of accessing the property. That said if you are looking to experience the “old city”, this property will be your luxurious retreat in the middle of it all. Let me start with the wonderful staff that took care of us while we were there. Jawad and Abdullah (and other staff) treated us with a level of service and kindness that I have not experienced at another hotel, regardless of property name, price or location. They literally treated us like we were staying in their home!! Everyone mentions the breakfast. They are correct; it is excellent - Moroccan food experience, service, view, and setting are all superb. We were there for 3 breakfasts, which worked fine. If there longer, I might want something different. That said if the staff were asked to change it up, I have no doubts that they would. This really was a special property. The art work adorning the walls is like a gallery, the style is world class, and each room has a themed design that even the website description does not do justice to. Even a frequent traveller to higher end hotels will be wowed by their stay. If you are traveling to Tangier, I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful hotel, great staff, and delicious breakfast.

Everything about this accommodation was perfect ! The cleanliness and how maintained it was. All staff were extremely helpful including Hamzeh. We were treated like royalty.

Roya and the team at Riad Dar Saba were wonderful. They were so helpful and attentive to ensure I enjoyed my time with them. The style of the Riad was more like a fine art gallery than a traditional riad, which was a fun twist and change of pace from the traditional riads I had been staying in on my trip. I also loved the central location to the Kasbah and area cafes and shops. I do suggest coordinating your arrival with the team beforehand so they can assist you with your luggage through the hilly cobblestone streets of Tangier.

The staff was excellent - attentive , courteous and helpful. The rooftop terrace- the sweeping views of the city, the waterfront - both morning and nighttime. Great breakfast served up there too. Funky but stylist and modern rooms. All in all- superb place to stay in Tangier.

i was surprised that breakfast was not included (all of the other 10 hotels in maroc did).

Impeccable service and the delicious breakfast were stand outs of our stay. The bed was comfortable. We stayed in the Barbara Hutton room and the couch was very comfortable.

The staff of the hotel went over and beyond their responsibilities to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They were quick with advice and recommendations, and were eager to assist and help in everything possible. They made our stay memorable

Excellent all round. Staff were friendly and helpful , room was clean , beautiful rooftop bar also where breakfast is served . We stayed in Forbes suite which was lovely and had a corner couch suite. Views were facing inside the Riad. It’s located in the heart of the Kasbah which is the old fort and just a stones throw from the Médina.

Great location and not far from the port

Dar Saba is a gem in the Medina. They arranged for a driver to pick us up from the train station which is important because getting to the Riad by car is not easy and not all cabs might find it. The interior design of each room and corner is impeccable and elegant. Breakfast at the rooftop terrace is a highlight. The staff was wonderful and very helpful; Jawad not only recommended a great dinner restaurant, he took us there personally so we didn’t get lost in the winding alleys. Highly recommend it if you are looking for a touch of elegance in the old Medina

Excellent stay!!

Really enjoyed the stay. Nice and quiet, small place so you get good attention from the staff. Just make note of the square footage cause the small room was too small for us. There was a small issue with the ac in the room and instantly got bumped to the bigger room. Breakfast view, food and service was definitely 10/10 and warranted the higher than average price. Perfect stay for couples looking to tour the old medina. Special shoutout to Jawad and Abdallah for their outstanding service!

Riad Dar Saba – Saba’s House is an absolute gem in Tangier. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were welcomed like family. The atmosphere is peaceful and serene, offering a true escape from the busy streets while still being just steps away from all the charm of the medina and the kasbah. What truly made this stay unforgettable was Roya and her staff. Her kindness, generosity, and attention to every detail made us feel so cared for. The breakfast was absolutely delicious — fresh, homemade, and served with love on the rooftop terrace with a beautiful view of the city and the sea. The rooms are cozy, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. Every corner of the riad radiates warmth and authenticity. Waking up there felt like waking up in a dream — peaceful, inspired, and grateful. If you are visiting Tangier, do yourself a favor and stay at Riad Dar Saba – Saba’s House. It’s not just a place to sleep — it’s a place where memories are made, where you feel welcomed and truly cared for. We left with full hearts and cannot wait to return!
