My wife and I went here for her 40th birthday. We crossed at the Tijuana boarder and went straight there. Our room was ready at 3pm, room was clean, AC was on so it felt super comfy after a day of traveling and it had a wonderful view of the valley. There is a mini bar and the prices are not bad if you opt to drink their beer, wine, mezcal, sodas or sparkling wine, we did not drink any of their stuff but it was nice knowing it was there. We immediately went to the pool which is elevated above the property and gives a good perspective of the valley. For dinner we went to the onsite restaurant which was AMAZING! Everything we ordered was fantastic a wonderful dinner for my wife birthday. After dinner we sat by the fire outside of our room and looked at the stars which you can see clearly and had a glass of wine. In the morning we went back down to the restaurant for coffee and breakfast; breakfast is free but only on a limited menu but don't sleep on the limited menu because i opted for this and go the Chiliquiles and it was filling + delicious. This location is tucked away off the main road and the road to get to this resort is dirt so walking is not an option and everything worth visiting is not walkable so arrange transportation with the front office. After breakfast the hotel arranged transportation to a nearby winery Descantos. The car that came to pick us up was new, clean and the driver was dressed to impress. The driver picked us up on right on time to return back to the hotel. We enjoyed the pool one last time and watched the sun set on the valley, we cleaned up then headed down to the restaurant for a night cap of dessert and coffee. A live band was playing during the dinner hours. I would definitely come back, make sure you download What's App before coming to Mexico it seems everyone operates on this to communicate.

We had the most incredible experience staying at Contenplacion in Ensenada! From the moment we arrived, I was blown away by how peaceful, clean, and beautifully designed the space was. The bungalow has the perfect mix of rustic charm and modern comfort—cozy interiors, thoughtful details, and everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The location couldn’t be better. Tucked away enough to feel private and quiet, yet close to great restaurants and the wine route. Waking up to the amazing view through the huge panoramic window over looking the property was a great way to start the day and ending the day with a stunning sunset was absolutely magical. The employees were wonderful—warm, responsive, and genuinely cared about making my stay special. They provided great local recommendations and made sure we felt right at home. Whether you’re looking for a romantic escape, a relaxing weekend, or a base to explore Ensenada, this bungalow is a total gem. I can’t wait to come back! California Love Birds!

Really enjoyed many things in this stay, but a few points I think should be addressed. Details, but at this level they would help. In the rooms, you need at least two chairs and a coffee table. The weather wasn’t good enough for us to sit outdoors. That wasn’t so nice. Also the floor in the bedrooms is cold tile, and that’s really not nice to step barefoot on as no slippers are provided you really have no choice. Breakfast service was a little inconsistent. Other than this, the place is beautiful and it’s a lovely experience. I just think details could be perfect. The drive on the street around the hotel is a bit rough, but this is the case everywhere in this valley. It’s just worth knowing.

Don't come to Valle de Guadalupe to relax over the weekend. Valle has evolved to a party life. The valle was was once a relaxing place to disconnect. Multiple wineries have a live dj during the day. CONTEMPLATION and surrounding area had loud music till about 11pm horrible sleeping night. Love the view hated the noise. Stay at contemplation for quiet night and stunning moutain views during the weekdays.

Hotel review My stay at Contemplacion Hotel Boutique was nothing short of amazing! I was impressed that the Jaime Ibarra, from front desk, reached out to me shortly after I made my reservation to ask a few questions and make sure all my preferences were taken care of. That level of attentiveness made me feel valued even before I arrived and set the tone for an exceptional stay. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Our cabin was beautifully designed, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches. The atmosphere was calm and elegant, yet cozy — truly a home away from home. Definitely a perfect blend of luxury and warmth that makes you want to extend your stay. I can’t wait to return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing getaway.
