The candler is always a solid place. This time tho the only thing that kind of threw me off was me having to call to request housekeeping although I was out of the room quiet early with the privacy tag off.

It was beautiful inside and outside. We felt welcome after arriving after midnight. My family want to thank you. We will be back soon. You all have not seen the last of us. We are coming back to Candler hotel!

The hotel is beautiful, but if you look closer - it's not very clean. There are a lot of patches, and areas of poor craftsmanship... just lazy things that are easy fixes.

I stayed here during a birthday trip. I booked this hotel because it looked like a nice hotel (Hilton) and on this app it was advertised I would get a food credit, which I did not receive. When I asked the hotel directly about credit, they told me to contact hotels.com. I then contacted the app about it and was told to contact hotel directly, smh (frustrating). I did eat at the George's restaurant that is inside the hotel. Their food was prepared really good, although a bit pricey. I felt very safe in the hotel, as staff and security(outside hotel) were always present. The location and atmosphere surrounding the hotel is kinda sketchy but typical for that particular part of city (a mix of city college kids, homelessness and panhandlers). My room was extremely comfortable with the exception of very slow drainage in bathroom sink, it didnt smell thankfully but I couldn't stop thinking about what was beneath in the sink pipes to cause such a backup. Although I used my hotspot for internet, I believe the Wi-Fi should be complementary for staying guests. Overall it was a good experience. .

Great building and staff. Area surrounding the hotel is a bit scary and no great parking options aside from valet which was expensive.

The was my second stay at the candler and it was great. I wanted to switch to a different room after checking in and I was taken care of right away the front desk sent someone to check out my current room and see what my issue was and they came up within five minutes after that I was shown two different rooms and they allowed me to switch my rooms. Yvette was great. She helped me out a lot in this situation and was very accommodating. The new room that I switched to was a upgrade and I was very excited to have been accommodated so quickly my family and I had a great experience Dwayne is a awesome nighttime security guard who gave us loads of information about the property’s history and gave us a tour twice around the hotel property with lots of information and he made sure that we enjoyed our stay. He is like the properties own historian. Look no further and book with them! The restaurant on site is great especially for breakfast

A beautiful old building that has been kept in immaculate condition featuring large, comfortable rooms and a top-flight restaurant.

Very excellent service

The staff at the hotel were very friendly.

Very disappointing. The room was drab, toilet was blocked, shower curtain liner was missing, towels were frayed at the edges and the bedroom carpet had an ominous stain in the corner by the bed head. Mentioned all of this to reception on checkout and got basically a shrug. Unimpressed.
