Location was a bit far from central Newquay.

Had a nice stay. Drove 5 hours up due to an event but had to get there by 9pm for check in so was a rush. They put us in a lovely room. Nice and clean and the downsides were the location of our room. Exhausted and woken around 7 due to breakfast as our room was next door to the breakfast room. The next morning after the event again woken to noise from next door, loud banging, dogs barking and hoovering - very tired for our 5 hour drive back.

We had a lovely stay at Pensalda, Karen and the family were welcoming, lovely, helpful and always found the time to talk to us & our son. The property was lovely, cosy and only a 10 minute walk into town. We would definitely return if we were to come to Newquay again. Thankyou x

Very comfortable stay

Pensalda was immaculate. Everything was decorated to a high standard and very comfortable. Only a 10 min walk to Porth beach and 15 mins into Newquay. Highly recommend

The room was very well presented and looked in excellent condition. Spotlessly clean. Very friendly host. Just a short walk down a hill to Porth beach and aporox 20 to 30 mins into the town centre. Would highly recommend

Our stay was lovely, the newly built little cabin was a good size for my partner and I with our little baby, a comfortable double bed with the option on a single aswell, but the host folded the bed quick and easy to make space for our travel cot. A nice ensuite and all the breakfast options were good. Our little one especially loved the garden area with the fishes and lights in the evening. Thank you for our breif but enjoyable stay.

The hostess was cheerful and friendly, and the room scrupulously clean. The continental breakfast had a good cereal selection, fresh fruit, and yogurt. The family had some dogs which didn't interact with guests, but were noisy in the early morning. It didn't particularly bother us, but some might find it disturbing. No outside food is allowed in the house, so it would have been nice if there was a picnic table available, for nights when we wanted to sample some of the local grab-and-go options (like the excellent fish-and-chips shop a few minutes walk away!) Overall, a pleasant stay!

We couldn’t have asked for better accommodation for our short visit to Newquay. We had two very pleasant nights here, very modern and clean. Owners were very friendly and welcoming. Wouldn’t hesitate in returning and will highly recommend to any family and friend visiting the area.

Karen is very welcoming. We have stayed here a few times. You are guaranteed a parking space. The room has everything you need. It's really quiet but still in walking distance of the beach and shops x

Stayed in the quadruple family room with my three young children. Perfect for what we needed and didn't feel cramped. Host was very helpful, polite, attentive and just brilliant! Lovely stay will definitely be staying again
