On social media, the promotion was "clean and tidy" because the owner was Japanese, they said. My experience: the toilet was moldy, the bathroom was dusty, the sheets were stained, the pillows were so hard... there was a sofa with a bed, and my husband slept there, but it turned out there were bed bugs. There were lots of cats roaming around, which was fine, but they defecated in front of the room, which was so annoying that they even came into the room. We stayed for two nights, and the room wasn't cleaned, there were no toiletries, only towels, which were small and never replaced. There were no amenities, and the hot water was quite warm... when I turned on the hairdryer, the electricity went out. The price was really cheap, and the location was close to Borobudur Temple. If it was safe, it would be fine with conditions like that.

The room temperature is a bit hot in the day , so you have to open the windows and turn on the floor fan for the air to come through to the bedroom, other than that I have no complain,mind you I stayed at the economy class. The staffs are nice and the place is clean and quiet .

I had a truly enjoyable stay at the homestay! The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The price is also affordable. Unfortunately, during my visit, the café menu wasn't available yet, which was a bit disappointing as I had been looking forward to enjoying a light meal there. Hopefully, this will be improved in the future, as the café itself looked like a great spot to unwind. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and wouldn't hesitate to return. With a little attention to the café service, this place could be truly perfect!

The staff is friendly and welcoming, suitable for those of us who like a classic atmosphere. Next time my family and I go to Borobudur, we want to stay here again

The lights and AC went out several times at night and we had to look for the staff to ask for help turning them on.

Comfortable, safe, beautiful, and calm. Really like the atmosphere. This is the second time I've stayed here. For cleanliness, don't expect it to be like a hotel, for the standard room with the price and comfort and atmosphere, it's good enough. The bathroom has been upgraded so there's a water heater too. Next time I'll stay here again if I go to Magelang 😊

Aesthetic, quite clean and tidy, there is a water dispenser, the curtains are not the same size as the windows so Ms. Seen from the outside, there is no wardrobe, no TV, no sandals, the bathroom is filled with only towels and liquid soap, the toilet on the top floor is connected to the toilet next door, there is no ceiling, it's a bit insecure hahaha I like the aesthetics.

Thank you Saka Hostel, until early morning but the admin is alert, the price is pocket-friendly, the room is clean and spacious because the type ordered is a family room. 5 minutes to Borobudur Temple and finding breakfast is quite easy, you can order it at the hostel or in the surrounding area.
