Very nice place at reasonable price

This is the second time staying at the Motel Happy Salmon ☺️. The rooms are very clean, the staff are very helpful and lovely. It’s our go to place to stay when in the Salmon Arm area.

A rare gem of a hotel! I could not recommend the Happy Salmon more - impeccably clean rooms, spacious and comfortable, exactly what we needed on our road trip through the Rockies. The staff were so kind and gracious (we were running late to check-in) and you can tell that this is a labor of love and how much they care about the property and your experience! Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel was very tidy, looks like rooms were recently renovated. Had booked in advance and the Ac was already on cooling the room down when we got there. Would highly recommend and will stay again.

AC was not cold enough

Parking good , staff friendly, room clean Noisy as next to highway . Very bright in room all night . No crockery to have breakfast .

A little dingy from the outside, but the room was the best motel room, I have ever stayed in. The AC some might consider a little loud, but I was very happy it had AC, as it was 35°C outside.

reception was pleaseant, rooms clean , would like to have a couple more outdoor seating areas to use .

This property is run down and not appealing. It is also 10 km outside of Salmon Arm and there are no restaurants, stores and place for food.

Comfortable beds and clean room.

Our friends and we stayed there for one night. Everything was great. It was very clean everywhere.(washroom, room,bed,..)

Although the hotel property is an older one, it has been remodeled and refurbished so everything is neat and clean and without any odors. The parking lot is small, but it’s included in your stay as long as you have one vehicle, it’s fine. Room was quiet, comfortable, and had everything I needed. I did not notice any amenities, but there is a nice picnic area right outside, it’s next to a busy road but fine considering it’s a road trip. My only feedback would be on the bathroom provided soap and shampoo, consider providing something a little more quality because the soap wouldn’t lather and I wouldn’t risk trying the combo shampoo conditioner.

Close to town, no restaurants in area, good parking, room very warm, A/C in living room where one bed is and other bedroom no A/C, fridge not plugged in, microwave but not allowed to cook. Good location right on Hwy 1.

Clean room, comfortable bed, lots of space inside and outside

Air conditioning worked, clean and updated room. Parking was easy. The room just had an old smell slightly but for an overnite stay was great.

Really old, run down. No fridge.

Happy to find this inexpensive gem. Don't let the outside fool you. The room was extremely clean with newer linen, comfortable bed and updated bathroom.
