A lovely modern hotel in the heart of Basel. The room was large with lots of nice touches such as a free minibar. Despite being near a number of bars and clubs we found the soundproofing excellent.

Picked the Hotel for closeness to the station a 10 minute walk. Stylish hotel in the heart of Basel in walking distance to all the major attractions. Lots of dining choices nearby. Reception staff excellent,room superbly large by European standards,breakfast good variety. Would definitely return

We enjoyed our stay here very much, the location is very central to the train station and trams, as well as easily walkable to main tourist attractions. The hotel is on a bustling street with late night bars. The breakfast buffet is provided with fee, but it was very delicious.

Great location. Note: Art House does not have air conditioning and it reached 93°F when I was there. So hot.

Very nice and comfortable rooms. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The location is great, walk to many old town areas, and central to many tram lines.

A real oasis in the hustle of the city with short walks to the central train station and old town. Free refreshments in the minibar and an excellent Bluetooth speaker was icing on the cake

Super convenient location in the heart of everything. Near a ton of restaurants, easy to access the transit system, and walk to the Rhine. Highly recommend

The interiors and room quality is excellent. However the hotel is in a shopping and restaurant centre so it feels very odd and there is a great deal of external noise. Our very large window looks out on to a service yard... That said the location in town is good, so fine for a one night stopover.

Lovely hotel in centre of Basel. Nice staff, nice breakfast (extra) and free mini bar (not re stocked during stay which was a shame). Only irritation - very noisy of a weekend as hotel is right on Main Street on top of bars. Woke on Saturday night / Sunday morning by a brawl outside window. To be fair hotel make you aware of risk of noise - but only after you have booked it. Nice place tho and very pleasant rooms and very comfortable with pleasant open plan design.

Highly recommend - beautiful clean rooms, the friendliest and helpful staff and the location is perfect! Walkable to hotspots like Basel Zoo, Barfusserplatz, Kunstmuseum

Large beautiful and comfortable room, only diwnside is a pet peeve, not enough places to hang towels, and they dont provide a bag for taking dirty laundry home. Really good location, in the middle of everything.

Our room was very spacious. Good restaurants and walking distance to the train station.

Location is a bit of a pain for uber drivers, but overall a great Hotel and really good for bsrs and restaurants

We received a free room upgrade due to the bad weather. Room was gorgeous and included a free minibar and card that gave free transport around the city and discounts at certain museums.
