I stayed at Seacom Inn YMCA Esplanade during February and March, and it was truly a delightful experience. What stood out most was the sense of peace and comfort throughout my stay. The heritage charm of the building is immediately captivating—high ceilings, classic architecture, and an old-world ambiance that makes you feel as though you’ve stepped into a different era. One of the biggest highlights is undoubtedly the location. Situated in the heart of Kolkata, everything is within easy walking distance—from New Market to Park Street—making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and exploring the city. The rooms are impressively spacious, which is quite rare in such a central area. The wide layout, airy atmosphere, and large windows enhance the overall comfort, allowing for a relaxed and uncramped stay. Overall, it’s a wonderful choice for anyone who appreciates heritage vibes, a prime location, and generously sized rooms. Staying here feels less like a typical hotel visit and more like experiencing a piece of Kolkata’s living history.

Excellent location. Heritage building. You can see the hustle and bustle of the city from the terrace restaurant. Wonderful on a winter day. They serve continental food and have quite a few options. The food tastes all right. Big portions. Prices are in accordance with the prime location.

We had a great stay here at YMCA. The heritage building was beautiful and the rooms were very clean and comfortable- especially the bed! ☁️ Staff was very kind and attentive, very helpful with carrying luggage and even checking in several times to ask if we needed anything. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

Went to the Heritage Court Cafe. It was really so classy and retro coded.

This heritage hotel has a fantastic location, and with a bit more attention to bathroom amenities and management, it could become even more wonderful. I believe with some improvements, it can truly shine as a welcoming place for guests.
