Great property with an amazing restaurant that did a 5 course tasting menu for guests of the hotel… equal to any mitchelin star restaurant I’ve been in. A truly amazing hotel to stay at

It was a fine hotel but a bit pricey. I also expected it to be colocated with the winery as in the photos but it is not.

This was a great hotel with friendly staff. There are not a lot of options for food/drink within walking distance, but there are multiple villages with a 5 mile radius.

This is an excellent hotel, with very helpful and friendly staff in both the reception and restaurant. The fine dining was world class and every dish was a flavour and taste bomb

Very modern, pretty room and well appointed overlooking rooftops and vineyards. Samantha at the front desk was very efficient, warm and professional. The hotel is in a great location for exploring the many wineries in the Sancerre area.

This a very good hotel. We had a lovely, spacious room, The bathroom was good and sotlessly clean. From our first contact with the charming young woman on reception, every member of the staff team were friendly, helpful, and gave time to one. We had a fine meal, and, of course, superb wines. We have stayed before, and will, almost certainly again.

It’s a charming stop in a small village. A bit old-school inside but it’s part of the charm. We were disappointed that despite staying there, they couldn’t just fit us in (two people) to the family’s wine tour in the morning.

Friendly family hotel with a Fantastic restaurant

The property was pleasant and seemingly well-maintained. The bed was fine, and the water pressure in my room was great, however, one member of my team had only a bathtub which was very disappointing. That alone is an issue for our crew so I doubt we would go back. The parking is either on the street or a 2-minute walk up a dark narrow road to an open parking lot. Not ideal at night.

Truly wonderful place to stay. Staff and service are excellent. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, clean, and perfect for aquiet peaceful rest. The restaurant is not to be missed.

Excellent stay at the hotel restaurant on my honeymoon. Received great service from the staff as an American couple. The type of hotel to stay at if you would like to eat dinner and breakfast on site. The restaurant was excellent. Location is in the village of Chavignol, a few minutes outside of the town of Sancerre. Rooms were comfortable but not luxurious.

Lovely rooms, beautiful village, amazing restaurant, wonderful wines. I keep going back.

This is a nice, friendly hotel. We had a spacious, comfortable room. They have a good restaurant but it is closed on Mondays so we ate in the brasserie. The food was nice but the decor and lighting were very depressing; the breakfast area in the brasserie is even more depressing and the breakfast is very limited. The decor in every other part of the hotel is nice and I wish they could get the designer who did that to do a makeover of the brasserie. Having said that, this is the only hotel in a tiny village and maybe the locals and workers use the brasserie and it suits their needs - it can't all be for tourists.

This is a beautiful old character house tucked away. Hosts very charming as were their two dogs. Beautiful terrace and gardens where you can sit and relax. Room was full of character and extremely clean. Breakfast was superb. Great location for sancere wine region. A great B and B

The room was beautiful and very comfortable. Unfortunately, it overlooked the patio, and it got quite noisy in the late evening. Other than that, it was very good.
