A wonderful stay! The staff were so helpful in arranging what we needed and it was very conveniently located, to allow us to access many areas of the city!

Die Zimmer sind chic, geräumig und in einem erstklassigen Zustand. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption und vom Housekeeping sind immer hilfsbereit und immer sehr freundlich. Zuverlässiges und schnelles WLAN. Einziger Minuspunkt ist wirklich das Frühstück- es wird bereits um kurz nach 8h nichts mehr nachgefüllt. Man muss jedes Mal um die notwenigsten Sachen bitten. Stattdessen sitzt der Mitarbeiter dort nur an seinem Handy...Sehr sehr schade! Vielleicht anstatt dessen Frühstücksgutscheine für das gegenüberliegende Café herausgeben.

This is a hotel with spacious rooms and excellent location. Everything is within walking distances. The staff are kind and professional.

Property has been renovated and the bedrooms look fine. The common areas need to be upgraded i.e. reception. There were two roaches in the bedroom.

Location, locaion, location. It was fantastic. The rooms were extraordinarily classy. We woke up to a view of Mt Pico on Pico island across the water. Only possible improvment would be a more delicious breakfast!

Every thing was allright!! Except the service in the sushi restaurant, at nigh, the food was not that great!

Schönes toll umgebautes Hotel am Hafen von Horta. Sehr gut lärmisolierende Fenster perfektes Raumklima. Verbesserungen sind beim Frühstück möglich. Ein Hotel das sich lohnt

Although there is much to like about this property, it is far from perfect. But I gave it four stars due to the location, which is wonderful and in the heart of the city, very close to everything. But that is also the problem, this hotel can be extremely noisy at night when cars and motorbikes are whizzing by. And the best rooms, those facing the harbor, have the most noise. We found it quite difficult to fall asleep at night. That said, the room was lovely, very nicely decorated and the staff was friendly but not exceptionally well trained. For example, one staff member entered our room without permission while we were napping on the beds! Although he did knock first, I didn't hear him because I was wearing noise-cancelling headphones (see above). There are no deadbolts or manual locks to keep people from entering like this and you have to use your key to exit the room, which would be illegal in the US. He apologized but went on to explain at length that somebody had reported a "problem" in the room. All while my wife and I were laying on the beds! Very unprofessional, although I'm sure this is not an everyday occurrence. In conclusion, the hotel looks great, the rooms are lovely but quite noisy at times and the staff is friendly but not well-trained. Still, because of the rooms and location I'll give it a 4.

I had known this place from childhood and I was so happy to see all the work that was out into keeping a lot of the original details. This is a gem with an amazingly beautiful view of the Marina/ bay and gardens. I was extremely satisfied with all of it and hope to be back someday. Wish the French doors opened to the balcony, but nonetheless it’s very well done. Congratulations 👏

Our stay here was wonderful! We had the perfect room, with a view of the harbor and Mount Pico. Our room was large, and very elegant with 3 floor to ceiling windows, and tastefully furnished. The hotel had that old world charm we were wanting. The harbor was across the street, and easy walking to town attractions. We had lunch and dinner at the hotel and the food was excellent and very reasonable. The front desk staff was very friendly and offered recommendations for sightseeing, and restaurant staff also very good with excellent service. I think this hotel had the perfect location and the view was unsurpassed. I would definitely recommend it!

I loved the whole place! Room was comfortable with a great view. Breakfast was just right. Location could t be better and the view was exquisite. Staff was amazing. What a great place!

This hotel is recently opened and has a central location in “downtown” Horta. It has a nice combination of older architecture mixed with modern furnishings. The staff is very friendly!
