Very welcoming as soon as we arrived. Free snacks on the bar. Room lovely and clean and great little private courtyard to sit in. I'd call this place a hidden gem. The beautiful weather and tractor show were an added bonus.

They stay was good, friendly happy staff and the room was better than expected. The only negative comment is the sound from the night club next door coming through the walls, especially the toilet, until 1am. For the second night we used ear plugs, which improved the sleep. It was good that we had our own parking bay allocated for the room.

This is a 300 year old property and as such had wonky floors it's in a traditional pub that's owned by a Black Country brewery, Holdens although other beers are stocked. Our room was quirky but clean and comfortable with a well appointed shower room including minimum toiletries. The breakfast is traditional but not extensive but perfectly adequate, there's no other meals available here but the pub is in the centre of this lovely Shropshire town that's full of restaurants to choose from. Please visit some of local attractions like the Bridgnorth funicular railway linking High and Low town and the Severn Valley Railway which unfortunately due to a land slip isn't currently running the whole of the 16 miles of heritage track to Kidderminster this is probably going to take some time to rectify but nevertheless the Bridgnorth station with it's fantastic pub on the platform, the Railwayman's Arms is still worth a visit and the cafe is still open and you can even take part in the steam train platform experience at a small cost, you could take fish and chips down from the town and eat them on the platform and enjoy a drink from the pub with them. Bridgnorth is a lovely town with a fantastic Saturday market, there's lots of quirky steps down from High town to Low town and then you can enjoy walking over the bridge on the way back up visit the Black Boy pub that's on a steep cobbled street back up to High town and all the other pubs including the Golden lion

Firstly we liked the property, its location, the room and a great breakfast served by friendly staff. Our only issue was our room was next to a club playing loud music between 7 and 1, apparently on Fridays and Saturdays. The owners are in dispute over this and were able to move us to a room away from the noise.

The cleanliness of the shower area was appalling black mould round the tray area and tiles. Was going to let the hotel know but no one available when we left. Its a shame as the staff and room plus breakfast were good.

Very enjoyable 2 night stay in Room Platform 3, clean room and bathroom with good powerful shower and hot water, plenty of tea and coffee etc. Very large full english breakfast included in Bed & Breakfast price, very good value for money. Excellent real ales and well stocked bar for spirits too. Friendly locals and good bar staff. Private parking space for each room is a good idea as limited parking in the town. Good shops and lots of pubs and restaurants in the area

Location was excellent. The cliff railway is unique. We’re were visiting the Kinver edge rock house National trust, it was only 9 miles away which was good. Nice pub restaurants close by. Breakfast at the hotel was really nice. You place your order the night before and it is cooked fresh just for you. Lovely

Lovely pub, charming staff and a good breakfast. However, bathrooms need some attention. In particular, shower is a little small despite room for one larger.
