The location, staff, the room, cleanliness, food happy hour, pools, all really amazing definitely would recommend the Morabeza hotel. However just a note for some travellers, this time of year, January to February tends to be a lot older clientele so if you’re looking forward a lovely quiet relaxing time this is perfect for you. Directly by the beach and by the strip where there are lots of really great restaurants and bars with music every evening. Overall this is a beautiful place to visit. Temperatures are just perfect and lots of outdoor water sports which are well worth the trip to have a look at the wildlife in the sea that cannot be matched. The people of Cabo Verde are extremely helpful, polite and very cool. Overall I would recommend Cabo Verde to the traveller who wants something a little bit more than a beach and pool holiday lots to do and explore.

A lovely hotel with a decent choice of bars and restaurants. Nice grounds in the main although there was a little refurbishment work going on. The staff were very pleasant and professional, especially in the Tortue bar and restaurant.

Clean room, nicevbut would have preferred a higher floor Check in was a real bore, huge manual form, totally unnecessary when they could just have photocopied the passports like everywhere else!

We booked the hotel last minute, which means we only had the choice of their last room available, a standard room. Whilst the room was their cheapest, we were fine. However, the rest of the hotel was faultless from arrival to leaving.The location of the hotel was probably the best location of all the hotels as it was near to everything that we required.

Séjour très agréable, l’hôtel est proche de la plage et surveillé en permanence avec des agents de sécurité. Bien aménagé avec restaurant plage. Il y a aussi le restaurant la Tortue en soirée qui est plus intime avec son bar. Personnel très poli, souriant. Hôtel très propre.

Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend. Die Anlage ist sehr sauber und weitläufig . Schöne 3 pool , viele Liegen, eine schöne Beach Bar runden das Angebot ab. Was nicht toll war ist das Badezimmer mit seiner Lamellentür. Es ist somit fast keine Privatsphäre vorhanden. Alle Geräusche sind deutlich zu hören. Ebenso dringen Gerüche in das Zimmer. Das ist schon sehr unangenehm.

Bien situé juste à l'entrée de Santa Maria l'hôte est doté d'un super beach club. Il reste calme.

Very good hotel in Santa Maria for Friends or family

C'est la deuxième fois que nous réservons dans cet hôtel à Sal et ce sera toujours le seul. Il est excellemment placé bord de mer proche du Centre. L'hôtel refait des chambres à neuf. Le petit déjeuner est très bon, mention spéciale pour les beignets à la banane. Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres, nous avions une suite parentale d'environ 35m carré, salle de bain avec douche et baignoire et double vasque, un balcon très grand avec table. Chaises et 2 transats. Les piscines calmes, le Beach Club très sympa, juste dommage que les lits soient des matelas à même le sable et pas des transat en bois comme ceux en terrasse. Location gratuite pour les clients de l'hôtel, c'est top. Je le recommande, surtout que les autres autours sont moins bien...

Very comfortable stay, nice pools, very good breakfast. Excellent position. Internet good enough to work. If we return to Sal island will stay in the same hotel.

Beautiful hotel close to beach and town. Excellent beach bar with great staff right next to the water and walking distance to any restaurant in town. Also has an extensive lunch menu with a lot of tasty dishes.

It’s a great hotel, excellent value for the money. Hotel is located very central and doesn’t have a private beach, what means that at the beach club anyone can come and take sun loungers as long as they pay, which is fine just something to be aware of if you are looking for a private beach. Hotel is really clean everywhere and there is staff making sure it’s staying that way. Massage at the hotel is very good too. Buffer breakfast is average which is expected. Overall it’s a great hotel. It also have a guest pick up option from the airport which is great priced.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour au Morabeza pour le cadre général, les chambres spacieuses et bien décorées, les espaces verts bien entretenus, le petit déjeuner copieux, varié et de qualité, l'accueil du personnel toujours avenant et souriant, les activités et jeux proposés... Le plus important étant à mon avis que malgré la taille de l'hôtel (120 chambres), ce n'était jamais la cohue ni au restaurant ni autour des piscines, on pouvait rester au calme sans problème.

We had a wonderful 5-night stay. The location is perfect right on the beach and the edge of town, but quiet and relaxing. Everywhere was very clean, the food is great, there's plenty to do and the staff were all so nice and helpful. Having explored Santa Maria, we would definitely choose Morabeza again.
