Most enjoyable stay at Heritage Awali. Great vibe, beautiful resort and amazing staffs.

Loved every aspects of our stay, a great vibe, amazing service, caring staffs at a super cool location, Heritage Awali is a gem in beautiful Bel Ombre. Will undoubtedly return again

We loved our stay at the Heritage Awali - there was so much to do, the food is excellent, and the staff were wonderful. Can’t wait to return.

Perfect family holiday, kids club was fantastic, golf at both courses is highly recommended, food was very nice at all restaurants.

This was my wife and I’s third hotel during our two week stay in Mauritius. The property itself was very nice, but there was some construction going on which put a lot of mud on the walkways, especially with the rainy weather. We both thought the grounds were too dim in the guest areas. Some of the staff did not help us well when we had questions, but others were very nice and knowledgeable. A couple of our events (African dinner, helicopter tour) got rained out, which was disappointing. We did try pretty much all of the restaurants (except for the BOMA African dinner experience). They were all good. We also tried some of the available experiences around the property (archery, seashell museum, 4x4 jeep safari). Except for the weather, everything was good. Because the weather was wet, rainy, and windy, we weren’t able to swim in the pools or the beach. We did walk around the Telfair a couple of times, which is a really nice resort. All in all, the hotel is great, but the weather just didn’t cooperate with our stay, at least not until the day that we were leaving. Bummer! If we come back, we wouldn’t mind staying there again.

Unfortunately they changed the dinner menu from international buffet to a-la-carte. Also had a couple of issues with the room, but these were resolved quickly.

Very good holiday for my family.

Clean rooms, good range of food options which includes being able to dine at the golf club, neighbouring hotels and beach club (car shuttle from reception included). Kids pool heated and we needed it for an October trip.

Lovely place. We had an issue with the air conditioning and after a few complaints we escalated to the manager and he moved us to a new room. He was also very attentive from that point on. The service in the restaurants is friendly but a little chaotic at times - lots of staff running about but not getting a huge amount done. The resort is great though, food and drink exceptional.

Bad communication

An absolutely stunning hotel and wonderful stay. Staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help you have the best holiday. The food was brilliant, the activities at kids club were fun and the views were just amazing. A truly wonderful hotel!

A fantastic location, exceptional staff, good food quality. Awalii is a true five-star resort, with an all-inclusive formula that allows for an exceptional vacation just steps from the beautiful beaches of Mauritius. We were surprised by the quality of all the services, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the extreme kindness and professionalism of the staff. We will definitely return to this resort

Lovely - more options on restaurants would be great

Lovely hotel unfortunately flies and insects in the room coupled with poor service left us feeling like it was overpriced. Really good dinner booking system though!

Gorgeous hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. Good food and excellent facilities

Our stay at the resort was wonderful. The facilities were excellent and all the staff very friendly, approachable and helpful. Sorted any issues that were raised. One staff member to mention in particular is Oliver who had our breakfast drinks ready at our usual table as soon as he saw us approching. Only one small criticism was the labelling of food. On one occasion what we thought was vegetarian was in fact not. But this was promptly corrected. Overall we had an excellent holiday.

I a very good hotel with excellent service. Superb for both adults and children alike. What a bonus that there is a tailor who can make you a fantastic suit.

The property was beautiful very zen like and the staff were AMAZING. The food was average tasting but a lot of variety! The only downfall was we 2 cockroaches over 2 days.

Loved the setting and service throughout. I would definitely say there’s opportunity to review the quality of some of the menu items. We were contemplating on staying an additional day, with the resort being so great!
