Kerber canceled my reservation the night before. They booked another hotel room for me at a different hotel. The room at the hotel was less expensive. I need be be refunded the difference.

The photo shows entrance to something else, not the hotel. Actual hotel entrance is less attractive. Check Google street view

The hotel's outside picture used for online booking actually is not its building and is a misleading . We stay 2 separate days there and booked two twin beds . There was only one cover in the room. We asked another cover and they gave us a new cover which is still wet ,not dry yet

The hotel was in a good location. Around 2 minute walk to the restaurants, 7 minute walk to the Millennium Bridge and around 25 minutes to the central bus station. Free breakfast was decent with good options. The price was good and given the location I would stay here again.

They upgraded me to a larger room for free, which was very clean. The ladies also were very helpful in suggesting restaurants and nearby attractions. What was also helpful was that they communicated with each other about the travel plans I mentioned, one day requiring me to leave at 4:30am and the person at the reception desk knew of my plans already. Such friendly ladies, always cheering you up. For the low cost, it was great.

The hotel is quite pricy for its condition. It has a good location for solo travellers though. Just outside is a drug store and a grocery. The room does not have a coffee making facility though so you have to wait for breakfast at 7:00 am for a cup and you have to order (but complimentary) because the buffet does not permit you to make your own cup. If your flight is early, get your breakfast in the airport because they will not offer a breakfast box for you to take away - so goes the "breakfast inclusion". The lobby is small and has DOG wandering in it. The only info the reception can give is that the dog used to be stray and they took care of it. They assured me that it does not bite or attack though. Whatever! When will one know the day the dog may attack you ir not? Sorry for those guests who are phobic with animals, the dog stays in the lobby!

Had a little troublee locating the hotel as i let TomTom use a hotel via point which takes you to the rear with no entrance or signage. Put in the street address and you arrive at the front entrance which has shops both sides with reception at the end of the arcade. Check in and tourist information went smoothly and a lift takes you to a well equipped modern hotel room. Parking was made freely available for my motorcycle as no hotel parking exists. The tw]own square with many restaurants and shops are only metres away. Next door is a ATM and a 24hr supermarket.Staff were most helpful and made the stay very enjoyable.

Great staff - Neda in particular was so helpful and friendly. Her meal recommendations were superb - just what we were looking for. Room was great - only downer was the shower being a bit wonky. Breakfast great too. Thanks everyone for making our short stay a great one.

It was good price and the hotel is not far from everywhere. The assistant at the hotel is helpful. It is good hotel but the facilities is old and my room is on the second floor and facing another building and is not bright.

This hotel is near the old town centre which comes alive every night and most of the shops are open till late. Aircon didn't struggle even when the temperature reached 39oC. The staff are friendly and are willing to give good travel tips. Tip: ask the friendly staff to book a taxi - especially to the airport and Manastir Ostroski.

The staff have excellent English and couldn't be more helpful. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel is centrally located in a shopping mall. The internet connection was very useful if slow. However, the walls and ceiling are just concrete covered in lurid green/yellow paint, and so dark the lights have to be on at noon. The view from the window was of rubble, a crumbling soviet block of flats, thousands of cigeratte butts (which explained the smell of smoke) some sheet metal and a dead pigeon. The Queen size room was so small the chair for the desk couldn't be pulled out fully, and it took 10 mins to get a trickle of water from the shower sufficeintly warm to wash in, and nearly flooded the bathroom which had a chipped toilet seat. Non-natives may find the Turkish coffee and Montenegran breakfast items strange.

I enjoyed my short stay at the Hotel Kerber. But Podgerica is not where the action is in beautiful Montenegro. Nor are the local travel agents up to much. I ate well in the very large restaurant in the main street just over a block away. If I ever go back, I would stay at the Kerber again. Value for money was pretty good - I had an economical room. Staff were generally very friendly and willing to be helpful.

It's easy to miss the entrance to this hotel as you have to walk in to a small shopping arcade and go to the end of the corridor to find the reception desk. But you then get a warm, English-speaking,welcome and, rather surprisingly for a hotel this central, a quiet room. OK mine looked out on to a wall but it was clean and everything worked. Well, actually the wifi didn't work and after trying everything, the receptionist called in their IT person (at 6:00 pm on a Saturday) who re-booted the hotel router and got me back online. Superb service. Decent coffee for breakfast and the offer of something cooked as well as the usual cold breakfast offerings. It is literally round the corner from the central square with a supermarket next door and loads of cafes and restaurants within a few steps. Can't beat it. Highly recommended and others have told me the same.

Nice little hotel with very central location. Reception unusual in a minigalleria. An old, calm and very friendly dog is part of the reception and adds a touch of coziness. Swift handling of in-check and out-check. Room lofty and clean. Breakfast in my taste quite boring. No hot food and only one type of a dull white bread in thick slices although there was plenty of nice spreading's to put on.
