Quiet despite being only one block from the main plaza. Beautiful old building and has some unloved creaking floors but that's part of the charm.

I love this property. So authentic. The staff is simply excellent. Few speak English well but I don't have a problem with that. And they are all very patient and friendly. Location is great. Just a couple of blocks away from Parque Calderon, center of old town. The only thing that bugged me a little is how long it takes for hot water to come out of shower. But once I knew that, just let it run before getting ready to jump in. There's restaurant on site and it's pretty good. Breakfast is great. Fruit, juice, coffee, bread, eggs, more than I can handle. Highly recommend.

Nice colonial house in Cuenca. The rooms are old, but that is the charm. Some bathrooms could look "newer" but all are functional. Staff super friendly and attentive, breakfast was good.

The hotel is an old home converted to a hotel. It has great charm and its a beautiful property. The rooms are a bit old and need some upgrading, but that did not detract one bit from our experience. The hotel staff was amazing, they catered to our every need. Since we cannot include any personal details in this review, I'm going to just call her C. from the front desk help us immensely. Anything we would ask they would run and get or take us to get it. I cannot say enough of our experience at this hotel. The hotel is located at the center of the historic city, walking distance to all the sights. I would recommend and intend on returning with my family again.

Good location hotel with walking distance to tourist attractions. I got a big room with old-fashioned TV and bath-room, which is in need of a renovation. The sleepy receptionist could be more friendly and professional. However the lousy check-in was nicely compensated by elegantly served breakfast. Some hotel staff was very helpful and provided high-standard customer service.

The Hotel in general needs a facelift. We were disappointed at the point that we did not spend even one night in the hotel. The room was long and narrow and the floor had carpet over an unleveled floor that feels your feet will pass through; the area to hang your clothes was even to small for two people. The bathroom was untidy, no hair dryer, the shower area was small and dingy that we could not see taking a shower there.

The hotel had a charm about it that we loved. The front desk receptionists were the best. Anna Maria was most helpful and Emma was outstanding. We felt like family. Freddie in the restaurant was very attentive and altogether the experience was refreshing. We will recommend this hotel to all our friends. In fact when we got back to Quito, we did recommend it to two gentlemen visiting from Switzerland and they assured us that they will stay there, since we supplied them with the names of the employees and told them to let them know how highly we thought of them.

The Inca Real Hotel is a beautiful colonial style facility. The outside entry is inviting but the inner courtyards are beautiful. Our room was open to one of the courtyards. We thought it would be noisy at night but it was quiet. The rooms are large and inviting. The local restaurant was excellent but maybe a bit expensive. Still, the food was excellent.

The Inca Real is a perfect location for a visit to Cuenca. It is right in the center of town and an easy walk to the popular landmarks. The staff and services are excellent. The breakfast that was included was delicious and quick if you need a speedy departure. An amazing value for a beautiful hotel if you are planning a trip to Cuenca.
