Clean and big space, breakfast was good too!

Fantastic hotel. The only hotel in the capital Torshavn that includes breakfast in the room price. The hotel is situated at the very heart of the city. Close to the harbour from where you can take ferries to many islands, even to Iceland. I appreciated the quietness of the hotel also. No traffic noise at all and very few cars passing the hotel although it is only ten minutes walking to the busy shopping streets. I had a room with seaview that was stunning to say the least. The bed also in my taste, that is not too soft. Bathroom clean and nice. Internet was very fast and reliable in the room. Topnotch! Cannot be better. Breakfast offered everything you expect. All in all I and my wife were very satisfied with our stay one week in this new hotel and can highly recommend it to everyone visiting these beautiful Faroe Islands in the middle of Northatlantic!

This is a great small hotel, it is easy to find, lovely views across the sea, clean, lovely selection at breakfast and common lounge areas as well as well-equiped rooms.

Wonderful hotel, felt like home! Overlooking the sea,ten minutes to all the sites! I injured my ankle and had to stay 2 extra nights, they were happy to accommodate my requests to stay in same room as I recovered! Wonderful breakfast buffet, parked my rental right outside main doors! My only complaint was no one on duty after 9pm as I did have an urgent issue but it was OK. I hope to return to this exciting country and town! The food is fabulous and friendly people.

Great location to walk around Torshavn and easy access to the bus. Lounge was cozy and view was amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the free tea daily and free beverage with going green.

Very friendly staff and the morning breakfast was excellent. Also if you agree to go “green” for your stay a free beverage/beer is provided . . . a nice touch. Only downside (but minimal) . . . looks like some minor repair work is needed (ie: to walls). All in all, a very good stay.

Get a room with an ocean view versus rooms towards the back which faces a large rock.

Love this place. Very nice room, with large bed and sofa to relax. We stayed for 5 days and almost became home. Staff very nice as well. Beautiful view and close to downtown. All around perfect. I will definitely stay here again.

The room was fine, the sink was difficult to use due to the placement of the medicine cabinet.

First rate staff, great location at the edge of the city center. Some off street parking also. Excellent breakfast.

Excellent hotel with good breakfast, and comfortable bedrooms. Good location for Torshavn and all the surrounding islands / sites. Superb service.

Fine for one night

The hotel is very convenient to the main shopping/dining district in Torshavn. It was about a 10 minute walk to many restaurants. The ferry/bus terminal was about a 5 minute walk away and it was very easy to get the 300 bus to the airport from this terminal. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the included breakfast had a nice selection. There was a nice perk in that if you chose green and declined daily room servicing you could receive one can of beer or soda per room for each day. We were able to try some of the local beer by doing this. The hotel is on a major street so there was some noise from the vehicles driving by but I would recommend the sea view (which also faces the road). I would definitely stay at Hotel Djurhuus again!
