Whilst this property has a few things that would benefit from tidying up, or modernising, and the dining options are limited, it is the team themselves who make this a great stay and a really good, reasonably priced, conveniently situated hotel in Aqaba. The team at this hotel, and especially the management, are well spoken, polite, supportive, and prepared to go every extra mile that they can to support their guests. There is a good level of English language spoken for non-Arabic speakers, and every action is focused on providing comfort and support wherever possible. For higher prices, there are invariably more glamorous choices in Aqaba, but these are often noisy, and hectic, with little time for individual focus. At the Oryx, every guest was the focus, treated like friends visiting rather than people passing through. Nothing was too much trouble, and I would happily recommend it as a terrific reasonably priced option for a stay in the area.

I ended up having to extend my stay and chose Oryx. Very high level of service, excellent breakfast, everyone very attentive. Sliding glass door to balcony needed the lock repaired; was fixed in 10 minutes with a call to the front desk. All in all a very good experience there. Would reccomend.

Friendly and helpful staff. Free bus shuttle available to the city centre. Walking distance to Fountain Mall. Nice quiet location.

great staff , great location, great service ..... everything was excellent

From the door when I first arrived, the security came to check my belongings, it was ok for me since it is for safety. But when checking in the front desk, the reception employee told me that food is not allowed to come in to the hotel from outside. This must be informed before the reservation was confirmed, not after midnight check in.

This was a fantastic stay, and it was my first time there. The people were extremely helpful, spoke excellent English, and made me feel very welcome. The rooms were tremendous and the bed was very comfortable, so I got really good rest. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the amenities or what I would expect at a hotel like this, as they were excellent

No parking but otherwise great spot and nice and quiet and walkable to the main strip

The hotel was better than my expectation. Very clean rooms, full of amenities, and good service, with a free shuttle bus to/from the city center.

This is a really nice, upscale hotel located about half a mile from the seafront in Aqaba. The photographs on the website don't do the hotel justice - the lobby and reception are beautiful. Service was good and the staff are friendly. The restaurant offers a buffet dinner for around $15 JOD/each and alcohol is available in the hotel . There are car parking spaces at the front the property which are free of charge. The room was pleasant with a large balcony overlooking the city.

The hotel not 5 stars rooms too small the check in desk lie to me they told me they don’t have 2 bed available when I booked the extra room they give me double bed room and they won’t my kids go in you have to be careful if you have kids they make me book another room for my 12 years old daughter I don’t recommended this hotel at all and the AC off I asked them to turn it on they ignore me the rooms too hot I couldn’t sleep and they won’t refund my money back because no cancellation
