My fiance has dreamed about staying at this place since she was a little girl in Tanzania. She told me this after I had found another place to book :) I'm glad we switched though! Beautiful property! Not 5 star but for the price it was right on the mark. Attention to detail would move this place up a notch for sure. Overall experience was 5 star! Minor issues were things like rooms that needed minor repairs/ a mini fridge that gave us issues /the first staff member we dealt with checking in was confrontational and made a big deal out of charging extra for my soon to be wife. (most hotels I've had assume double occupancy) not the case in Tanzania - everything an extra in my experience. The pool was nice and the food was good. The staff for breakfast was absolutely amazing!!

Staff was fantastic!

I received a room where it looked like it was cleaned once and never used for months. The bathroom door, under the sink and shower were dusty and dirty. The ironing baord was already open in the corner with the iron full of old water and it was super dusty.

I really enjoyed my stay at Ramada Resort. Staff is really polite and positive good vibes. I would come back there in my future trips to Dar es Salaam.

Excellent hotel, excellent staff, picturesque view of ocean and pool.

This hotel was top tier. I like the atmosphere but the rooms were really cramped. The ocean view room was great for the view, but the room was really hot, even with the air-conditioning on. We changed rooms for a courtyard view and that room was hotter. Two days with the air-conditioning not working was terrible. They fixed it as fast as they could. Other than the air-conditioning issue, it's clean and no bugs.The Staff was Excellent, the food is good. This is a good hotel for a short stay. I would stay there again!

Staff excellent...hotel excellent...room excellent

Excellent beach front hotel. Rooms were comfortable. Location is a bit far from the town and not much to do around the hotel.

Ramada will always hold a special place in my heart, I proposed here and they made life very easy for me. Amazing service

Smelly

The Ramada is overall a very pleasant experience. Although at times it feels like they are more busy than they can handle - weddings, events, walk-ins, etc. can make for shaky service. The staff is lovely, it just feels like they are overwhelmed.

The hotel itself was pretty very accessible. The food was good there's a nice variety. Commute to the airport and shopping was not bad. Front desk and wait staff were excellent

Most of the services and amenities were excellent. Small issue was in the room, i found some bugs which to me seems like the room wasn't cleaned properly.

My Stay Was Great and all the staff were friendly especially George at the FrontDesk & Chande who was in charge of security. Keep It Up Guys

We went to Ramada for a weekend getaway and it was beyond horrible. I've never in my life been to a Wyndham hotel with such low standard and horrible service: - Furniture in room and balcony old and partly broken - No warm water in the bathroom - Mold in bathroom tiles and rust in bathroom appliances - Unprofessional and unfriendly staff (personal highlight was a call from reception at midnight confusing the rooms and telling me this is my wake-up call) - Attempt to charge us for expensive wine which we didn't drink during checkout and then presenting us a bill from the bar without name and signature - Loud construction noise from the hotel garden past midnight which didn't let us sleep all night + Pool area is nice and staff around the pool helpful and friendly + Decent selection for breakfast When confronting reception staff with our complaints there was no reaction, definitely not coming back.

Worst bathroom and utilities

Really lovely staff but massively understaffed. Never experienced such poor service at a resort property. The pool is lovely but the beach is sadly pretty dirty. Food was good but overpriced.
