Believe the negative reviews, it’s definitely a 3 star hotel. If I went in to the hotel as a 3 star maybe I’d feel differently. Room 1512 smelled of mold, gagging, faced the staff parking lot and all the busses, felt very unsafe. Workers come & go & were so loud early mornings. Finally moved the next day to room 710, smelled better however both rooms had comforters/sheets that are stained, torn, gross, need serious TLC! Drinks are disgusting & sugary. Was all-inclusive & didn’t drink. Italian not edible, Hibachi Japanese only decent restaurant but soaks everything in soy sauce even salad! Steakhouse had salmon was raw. Pizza, ice cream not good. Coffee shop decent only if order hot items, cold drinks premade & gross. Beach/snack grill, forget it - waited 90 min for tiny gross chicken burrito. Nightly entertainment horrible, except beach party which was animation team! Animation team does a great job but only speaks to u if u are a party group from Canada. The Canadians are obsessed with this resort due to the value. Sorry Expedia needs to change the star to a 3. The best thing about the resort is MARIA THE BEACH MASSAGE therapist. Had 5 in a wk. If it wasn’t for her, I would have left! She is the best! Everything needs paint, chaulk, cleaning, updating, new linens, etc. I did not put a foot in the pool so dirty. I’ve traveled all over the world this by far worst experience ever! Expedia take some responsibility & don’t put it all on resort go research. No hygiene in buffet!
