We needed a hotel near Chilenje and this one worked out very well! It was safe, clean, and comfortable, and the staff was very polite and accomodating. Hot breakfast was available every morning. We enjoyed our 4-night stay here very much!

No Wifi as advertised (it was switched off), kettle in the room with a round plug but square plug fitting on the wall, 2 rubber eggs and one rasher of what could have been bacon but wasnt sure, room booked and paid for on your website but they had no idea about the payment and had to check with their other branch in Livingstone if the room was paid for (embarrassing), when phoning from Johannesburg to confirm my booking (4 times) I constantly got voice mail and eventually texted the number to confirm my booking and eventually got an answer, I also asked what the charges of a taxi would be and got no answer. When I landed in Lusaka, there was someone there to meet me (thinking that they had sent a shuttle service) and i was lead off into an unroadworthy mini van and taken off to the hotel where on our arrival, the driver demanded ZMW270.00 (R400.00) for his services which I did not order. For the money that I paid (R865 accom + R400 taxi) I could have stayed in one of the more up market hotels and got free shuttle service from and to the airport.

Nice and quiet place. Good value for money - as compared to much more expensive hotels in town. Friendly and helpful staff. Example: I was asked if I wanted my rental car washed, but I didn't feel that I needed that, so I said "no, thank you". A short time after the staff member was busy washing my car, and of course I paid him a few Kwacha. The morning I was about to leave, he again was washing my car (which didn't look dirty at all). If the guests don't have their own transport, it may be somewhat impractical to og to and from activities in town - even if taxi of course is an option. I had two dinners there - the first one was okay but nothing more, while the second one was delicious. A practical solution: Sometimes two or more people are traveling together and need to do some office work at their hotel. For some of the rooms at this place it's possible for guests with separate rooms to work without going outside, as there are doors between, which can be locked from both sides when the office work or internal meetings have come to an end for the day.
