This is a good location hotel. But they have to upgrade the air-conditioning system in the room. The hallway is colder than the room. It is a old hotel need upgrade.

We stayed 1 night at this hotel in May 2024. The Plaza Hotel Bishkek was a good place to stay in Bishkek. It’s directly across from a soccer stadium and also across from a major park. There are many restaurants within walking distance. City center and government buildings are all nearby.

central area with nice restaurant and clubs across the street. No light in the hallway and I thing they recycle the days before french toast so it was rubbery. Staff barged into my room at 830 pm while I was sleeping. they have keys to all the room so I feel one hast to be safe with valuable. good for the price. I am sure if I got sick at the hotel or before i went there but i was miserable

I got an inside room with no window but did have a balcony so there was enough natural light. Room was small but bathroom was comfortable.

It’s a bit run down with dirty carpets and dusty surface areas. One day elevator didn’t work for a bit. The lobby is shabby. the front desk staff refused to give us second room key without explaining a reason. Breakfast was listed to be free on Expedia, but turned out to be not.

Room had a musty odor so we had to keep the window open. Breakfast buffet was cold and essentially empty on the 1st day even with 45-60 minutes left. On the 2nd day, we arrived at opening (early flight ) and there was enough food, but it was already stale and cold. We booked a covid test onsite for the next am and they called us at 11:15pm (woke us up) to tell us that the onsite ones arent available on sunday-how did they not know this ahead and/or why tell us so late when we booked it around 11am for the next day. Great location to walk downtown. Staff was very friendly.

The hotel is very comfortable and good value. The staff are amazingly helpful, hospitable, kind: from the reception staff, to the cleaning staff, everyone is great. Excellent breakfast. Very useful to have pool, gym, sauna in basement. Highly recommended - I will always stay here when in Bishkek

Terrible . You may regret yuor reservation at this hotel . We were a group of 9 people who made a booking at this hotel in the month of June 2019 . As per the terms , the booking should have been charged for in August , but they took full payment at the time of making the booking itself . Inspite of making a booking 3 months in advance , we checked in at the hotel and were told the next morning that we would be shifted to a chines hotel because ' there were urgent repair works ' taking place in the hotel . We explained to the staff that we were going to be out all day , and they were free to enter the rooms and make repairs as required. When we arrived from our sightseeing, we were astonished to find that our bags were packed and kept in the lobby . They actuall entered our rooms in our absence , dumped everybodys stuff into their respective bags and kept the bags in the lobby for checkout. When one person who had the key , she found other people in her room, a clear indication that the hotel had booked other guests with overbookings . we made a big noise but it was of no use. The manager is the biggest chicken of the lot. He sent a 1 month old trainee to handle the situation whilst he stood behind the curtain and watched the show. And not a word of apology. Nightmare
