Quirky, delightful motel in the middle of nowhere but able to provide nearly all modern comforts. Only thing missing was a tv in the room but I didn't miss it. Restaurant was excellent. Beds were very hard. Good hot shower. Having visited Ai Ais, I was very glad we were staying at the Roadhouse.

Very convenient location to visit the Fish River Canyon. It is a little pricy, but the rooms and whole accommodation is very nice and has a unique design with a lot of attention to detail.

It was an oasis in a beautiful setting. Attention to detail and friendly staff were in order for our stay! Comfortable accommodation, great food, and everything that you could need were available, including fuel for vehicles. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay there again.

Well kept hotel and very clean. Rooms on the small side but adequate. Could have done with a fridge in the room. Enjoyed the pool. A bit expensive but considering location in the middle of nowhere to be expected

Pleasant stay at a quirky property. The hotel felt a bit like a car museum; a lot of very interesting older vehicles with great patina and history. The room itself was clean, modern, and well decorated. Solid breakfast, nice staff.

Great place to atay! Very nice ztaff, spotless rooms, quirky decor. Most important, close to Canyon! We e joyed it very much.

This was much different to what we were expecting, it was extremely comfortable, clean and staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Thoroughly recommended

Lovely and comfortable

Absolutely fascinating experience staying at this Roadhouse. I wish I had had lots more time to browse slowly through everything they have on display. Had a wonderful swim after many long hot hours on the gravel roads and the accommodation was excellent. Food very tasty and good breakfast. Would recommend this establishment to all my friends and family.

We enjoyed our stay here so much. The lodge is uniquely decorated with old cars and vintage memorabilia which makes it a photographers dream. The splendid Fish River canyon is very close with magnificent views from many viewpoints and walks.

Our stay was lovely. Friendly staff, good food, lots of photo opps, clean rooms, really enjoyed the old memorabilia.

An iconic place to stay, if for the memorabilia and nothing else......comfortable rooms, pleasant staff, great meal......5am start to drive to fish river canyon view point, had it all to ourself, but feel with the midday sun overhead, would be a better time to visit canyon.....

A fascinating themed lodge. We loved the restaurant with the old vehicles. the staff were cheerful, friendly and efficient. Room pleasant and comfotable. Food very good.

Finding it was pretty easy and really liked the "old west" feel with all the old cars and signs, however I found the rooms to be a little understated. The wifi did not work and the woman at the reception could have been a lot friendlier. We had booked the room on line and after being unable to find our reservation and repeatedly asking if I had one even after showing her the e-mail room confirmation, she finally gave up and thrust a room key at me. Didn't understand her attitude especially when only 3 rooms of 20+ were occupied that evening. The rest of the staff was accommodating and friendly.

Great food. Comfortable rooms. Quirky presentation with old car wrecks inside and outside. Well placed for Fish River Canyon.
