Fun, old style motel type feel. Comfortable bed, beautiful river and views. Good value for the price.

This was my second stay at this hotel, and by chance, I ended up in the exact same room I had four months ago. That was a fun surprise. It’s a charming little hotel right by the Susitna River, with an amazing location and friendly staff. I’ll definitely be back.

Old, but very well kept. Clean and wonderful location by the river. We had very little interaction with the staff, but our late check-in was easy.

We were only going to stay one night just to cross country ski, but it was so quiet and relaxing in the small town of Talkeetna we decided to stay a week. Rooms are very clean and everything is in walking distance, amazing view of Denali, plus the added bonus was seeing the northern lights.

This was my fourth visit to Talkeetna since 2007 and my second time visiting during the winter. It was also my first stay at the Talkeetna Inn. Although the check-in time is listed as 4 PM, I arrived early and was allowed to check in at 2:30 PM, which was a nice gesture, especially on January 1st. I was also given a room with a great view, which I appreciated. The location of the inn is excellent—right by the frozen river in winter—and within walking distance of the town’s restaurants and bars. The room was clean and comfortable, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the heating was just right for the cold weather. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would consider returning to the Talkeetna Inn on future visits.

Great kind neat perfect little neighborhood

No one answered phone very difficult to reach anyone person showed up at 4 and asked us to wait so she could open the bar we decided to go have dinner and come back had to go to the bar to check in very icy parking

Quaint, no-frills place to rest in the middle of beautiful scenery.

They need to fix their entry ways so they can be warmer

This inn is a hidden gem. Nice and clean and the views of Denali and the sunset over the water were magnificent. It is the perfect place to see the northern lights

This property is right on the river and very walkable to town. Although it was dated, it was very clean and comfortable.

Refused our stay with a registered DOT service dog saying they do not let dogs in of any kind or size. Didn't want to argue because there were not a lot of options in town. slept half the night in the car and the next night stayed with a friend who lives in town.

I liked that the river was literally, “right there.” And the view of Denali was absolutely amazing!

Had a great time at Talkeetna Inn. Quaint little place with great area out by the water, so pretty! Fun bar with great bartender ( Deanna) and fun atmosphere!
